Can someone explain the Ce Multiavantages process to me?

Hi all

Been a lurker here for a while and finally got round to joining!

Hubby and I are planning a trip next year (I know that's ages away but I'm a planner!) and because my sister might be coming with us and wants her own room I've costed everything up and it looks like it'd be significantly cheaper for us to stay off site and get annual passes.

I've had a look at the ce multiavantages site and I'm really confused! How do you claim the free kids pass? There'll be 3 adults and 1 child so do I put in 3 passes or 4? And do you have to pay any sort of fees to join? Also how long does it take for the passes to come?

Thanks for your help!

Hello :goodvibes

To join CE Multiavantages costs 20€

You order the number of passes that you need for any adults and children over 7 as these are the ones you need to pay for

They will then send you a mail asking you how many "free" childrens passes you need

They will be send to you via recorded mail, atm it costs 6,70€, and delivery seems to be fast to the UK (less than a week for most)

They are exchangable up to 6 months after issue date so you'll have to wait a bit before buying them ;)

We have done this and it was very easy. As Carrie Cat said we bought and paid for the adult passes, then I sent them an email asking for the free child passes we needed. It was very efficient and they took about a week to arrive. :goodvibes

I bought mine trough multiavantages and got a free kids pass even tough I never asked for it. It was there in the envelope along with my own adults pass.
Tough watch it with the 6 months, I was assured mine would be valid from 20 February 'till 20th of August, yet I received mine about a week ago and I have to switch it for my permanent copy before 6th of August... Really great if you've booked to arrive the 8th!
So now we're going for a day by bus in April so I can go trade it in in time. Thank God we're from Belgium, I'd be quite upset if I had to come all the way down from UK. A quick day there and back wouldn't be much of an option if we'd have to travel so far.

Yet good customer service further, already emailed about this and was immediately offered that I'd sent this one back and receive a new one which would be valid long enough for me to trade it in after 8th of August, on their costs but mailed back that it was fine and that we'd just go in April.
But they did try and find a good solution themselves, yet we already figured out what to do. :goodvibes

Thanks for the advice.

I'm wavering about doing this, it'd save us money but at the moment we're planning on booking Kyriad and getting annual passes only if Disney doesn't come out with some awesome special offers closer to the time. We're thinking of going the week after New Year and I know that this year they had a lot of flash sales on around then and I'm hoping they'll do the same again. Basically we're going to be playing chicken with the special offers and if we get the passes from Ce-Multiavantages then I'm worried that it'll cut down on our flexibility!

If they do have a "flash sale" for your dates, chances are you'll get a great deal on room only too, so the AP may still work out better. Plus, don't forget the discounts you get with an AP in the food outlets and shops!!

It is difficult to know if the RO rates will stay as advantageous as they seem to be at present. For a few years most people have said that during flash sales etc, that they can get packages cheaper than buying APs and RO rates.

I think sometimes it depends on how many are in your party and when you are going.

We go in June and as a family of 4 (one under 7 so free), we've saved £170 on the package price (package being the current 15% off we could get on our dates/hotel), and that factors in the price of our APs!. So basically, they have paid for themselves already and we will get further discounts in the Park while there :dance3:.

I have seen others on the board say the package was better for them on the current offer but that is probably with 40% off.
