Can someone explain how Pepper Market works?

We were only given one card....maybe the cm asked if we wanted separate and dh told her no when I was trying to move the kids along, but I know we only had one card.

I guess if you tell them you only need a certain amount of tickets because your party has young ones, then you wouldn't get one for each member. My DD loves to be independent and walk around and get her own food.
