Can someone explain CVSing - I dont get it!

You cannot use ECBs from one card with a different card.

And about the Walgreens vs. CVS debate - I do quite well at Walgreens, too. I've never had a problem with my rebate submission, and I love that when there is a deal (often with overage), I can do it as many times as I can find the products. I have 8-10 Walgreens within a 5 or so mile radius around here that tend to be fully stocked (and are mostly coupon ignorant, not coupon unfriendly) vs. 3 (going on 4) CVS stores that often sell out of the deals by Sunday afternoon. That makes a big difference!

I am so sorry!!! Had she been sick? I know I read she would be leaving on the 10th for Disney. Where was she? You just never know. I am 40 and this hits very close to home. Hugs to you for losing your BFF.

You all are so wonderfully thoughtful to post your blessings, they are very appreciated. She had a history of some minor heart problems, but of course we never thought this would happen. She, her parents, her husband and her children were at Disney World and staying at the Animal Kingdom Lodge. It was her favorite of all the resorts and they had eaten at Boma the night before, which was her favorite restaurant. It was the family's 26th trip together. She was at the place she loved the most with the people she loved the most. Hugs to all of you.

here's my first week of stuff.... several diff trips.

box of bandaids
4, 12 packs of cokes
12 aaa batteries
16 aa batteries
3 packs of gum (the kids were with me)
1 gallon milk
4 boxes cereal (q for all 4)
2 boxes granola bars (q for one)
2 6x8 photo books ($3 off q) -- father's day
Revlon mineral make-up (needed this)
2 dove deo (q for both)
1 dove clinical deo (q)
6 boxes soap (1 q)
2 bags "kisses"
1 large bag of m&ms (great for trail mix)
2 hershey candy bars

oop $67; ECB remaining $8

I'm guessing that at wal-mart I'd have paid close to 95-100 so I think it's a good start. you guys give me ALOT to shoot for.

I lost my original card, so I have trouble updating my info online. Got a new card today, but have to transition over to it. oops.

could have done much better, but still on the learning curve. Everything purchased I normally use.

Can someone explain why I'd pay $3.50 for a toothbrush...I know I get ECB for the Toothbrushes...but I don't get it. I'm still out 6.49...I'd rather use the ECB for stuff I need or would normally purchase. And I wouldn't buy one that was that expensive. teach me!

I am very new to this as well, but I can tell you that if you will call 1-800-746-7287 and follow the prompts that you will be able to speak to someone. They should be able to pull up your old card # with your phone number or name, etc. and they can link it to your new card. I had to do the same thing and the girl that helped me was very sweet! As far as the coupons go, I have just been following this thread and people will post a link to them. Does anyone have a link they can post for a $/$$ coupon? Just follow this thread and even read back a couple of pages and you will learn a whole lot! Good Luck!!!!

You can sign up at iheartcvs and they will email a link for coupons to you.

I sometimes buy toothbrushes for 6.99 because I have ecb's expiring soon and want to renew them, so to speak so they don't just expire. Then, I get the toothbrush for free and only pay with the ecb. Also, if you have a coupon for a free item, even if you did not want it, it would make you the 'profit' of the coupon amount. Does this make sense? Another reason I buy the free items is to get to a certain amount. Say, I have a $3/$15 coupon and have $11 of items to buy. I will throw in a $4ish or as close as i can get free after ecb item to use the $/$$ coupon. Then, the $/$$ coupon is being basically applied to $11, not $15.
