I am thinking that "bounceback trips" are ones that you plan while at the resort. Is that correct? I am wondering what type of deal that you are offered and why(or if) it is a good deal. Also are you able to combine other offers with that or is it only used alone. We are going in March and would like to know the best way to plan our next trip(at the cheapest cost..lol). Thanks for all the advice up front!:goodvibes

Yes, bouncebacks are booked while you are at the resort for your next trip. They must be booked before you check out and require a deposit. We went in March 2009 and booked a bounceback for Nov/Dec. 2009. Ours was for 40% off at a moderate or deluxe resort so yes I think it was a good deal. They often vary and are not always offered. There are also many blackout dates. Right now I think the bounceback is for free dining for next fall. When we booked ours, we were staying at POR, but friends of ours were at POP and theirs was for 30% off. If you don't see a bounceback flyer in your room call and ask the front desk about it. There wasn't one in our room, but the bounceback was available. Unfortunately Disney will not let you stack discounts. This is why we are doing a split stay for our next trip, 10 nights at POFQ with Free Dining and 2 nights at CR with our bounceback rate.

If you are going in March of 2010, the bounceback would probably only be available for dates in 2010. Hope this has been helpful.:goodvibes

What about if you later need to change the date? How does that work? It would be hard for me to book on the spot without knowing our school/work calendar for the next year. I usually have to work through several different scenarios.

You can change it when you get home as long as you are still within the dates that the bounceback was available. I changed mine 3 times before I finally settled on our dates.
