Look under the cushions in your couch, under the refrigerator, and in all your purses. I think I might fine pens from the last 10 years if I looked in those places.

no...there are NEVER pens in my car. I've looked...BUT I do have about 10 Home Depot safety knives

Oh, we the laypeople never find them. You have to take it to the car wash and have the teenagers clean the inside. They always find pens -- and tampons. It's lovely.

Have you checked the washing machine? I almost always seem to find writing implements in there.

maybe they go to the same realm reserved for individual socks, unreplaceable receipts (and insutruction manuals) and my kid's 'i realy DID that assignment mom-the teacher must have lost it'

well, be thankful that your pens lasted so long. I put 2 dozen sharpened pencils in the cup on my desk this morning and one of my students asked to borrow a pencil around 2 o'clock. I told her to get one from my desk and she said the cup was empty.

I swear these kids eat pencils

Oh I got pens for ya, boxes and boxes of pens. DH is in sales so his old company always sent pens to give out at trade shows etc. Well he has since quit that company and I have boxes of pens. the kicker DS10 is not allowed to use clicky pens (teacher's pet peeve) and in the beg of the school year it stated for 4th grade blue pens only, no one could figure this out. So I finally asked the teacher and she "oh that is not necessary, that is such an old list"

Oh I think I have every stinkin holiday pencil bc no one wants the poor kids to have any candy so they get a pencil

But we are sturuggling to locate glue sticks and hilighters.

Also I have a million post it notes (see DH in sales thing) but can never locate one when I have to write something down

remodel your kitchen i just started cleaning out for that and so far I have found 68 pens, 4 boxes of pencils and my dds last report card.
