if you need their help for anything just write attn. tag fairies in the subject line of your post with a question. also they can add color to the tags under your name.

snoopy! Get on over to the island girl! Ya have to bring your own "virtual hunk" though...we don't provide...;) :teeth:

If you can handle looking at pictures of Apolo Ono, you will love it on the island.....

Anyone can stop by......anyone is welcome.....:Pinkbounc :bounce:

I remember that one thread with all the strange happenings at WDW that started the corn converstions quiet well! I used to go back to that thread and read it for good laughs!

The YaYas are very welcoming to everyone!!! All you have to do is stop in and say hi! If you find us on page 1 or 101, we'll be just as happy to see you there :)

Hi! A member of the CC (Chalk Circle) and WDWWDS (Walt Disney World Water Drinkers Society) checking in. I don't like to think of the CC thread as a "was", it's just gone to the great recyling bin in the sky. The memory lives on and does its members which most of belong to the WDWWDS as well. You can try to quiet us down, but we will keep coming back. :teeth: Anyway, I invite you to join us on the WDW Water thread. We have lots of fun there.

Just another little ole' YaYa checking in! All the other YaYas said it perfectly, but just want to add my own little greeting to any and all potential visitors/sisters or brothers. As Elaine said, whether we're on page 1 or 101, we're always thrilled to have someone jump in and join us! We've had several "latecomers" along the way, and they're just as much a YaYa as those that have been there from the beginning! :)

As for youuuuu, MsTankGirl.....
If you can handle looking at pictures of Apolo Ono, you will love it on the island.....
THAT....m'dear is the best part of being a YaYa!!! :teeth:

I don't remember any "Corn" thing??

Does anyone still have the WEIRD THING/CORN thread???? It was so cute, funny and CORN COOL!!!

Did someone ask for a history lesson on the Chalk Circle and the WDWWDS?

Quite a long time ago there was a thread covering "How do you reserve parade seats in WDW and what do you do to defend it"? The discussions included a number of far out ideas such as laying down towels along the curb and drawing circles in chalk on the sidewalk. Eventually that thread got shut down while I was suggesting unique "techniques" for defending your precious parade turf, which didn't meet the approval of the mods. From that, was born one of my first DIS business ventures called the DVTC - The Disney Vacation Towel Club. We provided members the towel laying service using towels we ahh...liberated from Disney hotels. The thread had a decent following until a competitor tried to cut in our market share with a Chalk Circle service. The DVTC went bankrupt and the thread is long dead.

Later, the long standing Parks Trivia Game adopted the "Chalk Circle" as it's virtual meeting place. Recently an annex thread was created down here on the CB so that the game itself could stay more on topic and not flood the already busy Parks Board with "fluff". The annex has since been closed down, but not before one of the CB legends popped in to participate in the virtual orgies that were going on at the time. I believe the other participants dubbed him Long Dan Silver. Sigh, anyway, Alex shut us down for breaking DIS rules. Hmm...seems to be a common theme that follows me around. I'm happy to report that everyone is behaving themselves......really....no, really, I'm not kidding.

There also was once a thread named "Can you drink the water in It's a Small World?" up on the Parks board. In it, the thread originator asked that question in all seriousness because a friend of hers would scoop up water in the ride and drink it whenever they rode. In response I said that there were great health benefits to drinking IASW water as well as a variety of other attraction waters in WDW. A number of the Chalk Circle folks participated as well. I seem to recall that that thread was shut down over worries that mindless people would actually try drinking from the 20k Leagues Lagoon. Hmm....there goes that common theme again.

Following that a Chalk Circle regular started the "Can I eat the dirt in WDW?" thread...also promptly shut down. Then the WDWWDS was born, which is The Walt Disney World Water Drinkers Society. We're now a world wide organization with thousands of members and we're currently lobbying for a seat on the U.N. And thankfully we haven't had the thread shut down. I think maybe people caught on that it's all PRETEND.

WDWWDS and Chalk Circle allows anyone to join. We are equal opportunity water drinkers and WDW trivia freaks. All DISers are welcome. Stop by....we're all relatively normal...sort of.

And no, none of this will be on the quiz....

Wait, OT, it's all PRETEND. Oh geez. I'd better make an appointment with my doctor. And throw out my reserve supply.

I had it bookmarked since it was so so funny and yep, corn cool :teeth: Unfortunately during a move or an upgrade (can't remember which but I want to say the move from Infopop) it was lost. I just remember one day going to the bookmark and the link was no longer valid :( Too bad I didn't copy it into word or something... although that would have been one heck of a word document!!!!

Can a guy get in the Ya-Ya Sisterhood? Will I have to watch the movie?

wdwoldtimer-absolutely you can be a Yaya! We ave a few gus over on the thread...they are called the Yaya "bothers" It was a typo of brother that just sort of stuck:p
And NO.........there is no required movie watching:D

I warn you though...I tend to get threads closed down.....:p

I have this behavior problem, you see. Ever since 1st grade...

I didn't know what to think of them at first. Wasn't even sure they were "real".

Then I got "tug". (No one seems to know what that word means, I thought it was obvious) I got so excited that I even posted that I had gotten tug! See, it is the little things in life that can make it better.

Now, it's just a little tag. But it's mine! And I'm very proud of it!

End of line ("Tron", nevermind.)

wdwoldtimer, there are no requirements on the yaya thread (well, there is the nakey dance.....lol).

Come and join us! We'd love for you to stop lurking and start postin!

If there's a nakey dance, he's there. :o  :teeth:

I think this so far is just so much DIS information.

Here is the TRUTH

The Ya Yas were all herded into one thread to keep them out of the way and when the green duct tape didn’t keep them occupied the moderators drew a chalk circle around them to keep them contained by telling them that if the followed the chalk line to the end they would meet the Tag Fairy.

Seems to be working so far.

Mr. Zurg, you forgot the part about the Dwarf's with Bad shoes brawling over the canned Corn and hitting each other with Emu legs. .

;)
