Sorry, this may have been brought up before but I am a new member and could not find anything about this. We will be checking in to AKV on a Sunday next May but will be driving down and will get into Orlando on Saturday afternoon. Instead of using a ton of points on a one night Saturday stay at AKV, I booked Saturday night at Pop Century at a AAA rate of $104 with tax.
I was wondering if DVC allows points to be used at a value resort? The literature we recieved only shows deluxe, moderates and Fort Wilderness.
Are the Values included?

Thanks.

And if they were, they wouldn't be cost effective after you paid the $95 fee.

Oh, thanks for that info.
I didn't realize that the WDW resorts were subject to the $95 fee. That's very helpful to know.

Until recently, there wasn't a fee for the non-DVC WDW resorts. The change was just announced. It takes effect for reservations made or changed after 1/1/2008. The fee doesn't apply to the resorts at Disneyland, though.
