Can one do a grocery pick up while using a car service?

Our plan is to use a car service with the grocery stop. It would take me 15 min to find two items, never mind staying in line to pay. I thought make a small 6-8 items shop and have it brought out curbside like they do at walmart. This would be at Publlix.

We will be getting to resort about 7 pm and would rather go right to room and have a meal (sandwich, can of soup) with us, not having to venture out again.

Publix uses Instacart for curbside.

You can use publix app to set up shopping list, arranged by aisle. You can buy a lot in 20 minutes, when you're organized.

I don't need to buy a lot, but wary of the checkout time. Something for dinner like a hoagie. Soda, frozen breakfast sandwich , OJ,

Drivers don't want to be waiting while you're in a long line to check out. They pick a Publix which tends to have reasonable lines.

Many of them suggest that you do a pickup order rather than going in and actually shopping.
