This is the first year, for quite a few, that we're not staying on property at all.:scared:
So, my question is this, can we use the kids club at one of the 3 Universal hotels for dd and ds this summer? I'm guessing that we cant, but I've been led to believe that you can at Disney (just posted a thread for more recent confirmation), so just wondered if anyone had any experience of the Universal clubs, whilst staying off site?
TIA,
Matt

Oh well, if no one knows for sure... Suppose we'll just have to consider using a Disney club and travelling to Universal one evening. To be honest, I'm pretty sure you cant use the Universal kids club unless staying at that particular hotel. Ordinarily I would ring the hotel, but like another dis board member (on another thread), when I asked about the kids club when actually in the hotel (couple of years back now), the member of staff didn't know it even existed!!!! So ringing could prove interesting!:confused3

I'm sorry...I can't help you with this question. :guilty:

Let us know what you find out...someone else may have the same question.
:upsidedow

Can't help with your question, but I can tell you that you can use Camp Dolphin at the Dolphin Hotel even if you are not a guest. You just have to garauntee your reservation with a credit card.

Great! Good to know!!!

Keep them coming... Doesn't look like anyone has ever used a Universal club!:confused3 We have once, but weren't that impressed (Portofino), but it was a few years ago...
TIA,
Matt

I've definitely used a Universal Club, several times. But we were staying at a Universal hotel at the time so I can't answer your question definitively. My kids, who are teens now, absolutely loved Lil' Rocks at the Hard Rock Hotel. They were veterans of several Disney kids' clubs (Neverland, Sandcastle Club, Cubs' Den, and the one at Boardwalk--I can't remember the name) and both agreed that they liked Lil' Rocks much better. For the record, my oldest HATED Neverland. They were at capacity the night he went, which means 99 kids!

So, I'd highly recommend Lil' Rocks, but I can't honestly tell you if you'd be able to leave your kids there if you're staying offsite.

Thanks for that! My 2 went to the one at Portofino, they liked it, but I wasn't particularly taken with the staff!!!Quite rude, and disinterested...
