Can MS renew an AP?

I've been trying to renew my AP online, and WDW/DVC's site is telling me that my AP number is not valid. Can I call MS and renew my AP over the phone?

Has your AP expired yet? If so, has it been more than 30 days ago? If so, it is not valid to renew.

No, I don't think we can renew APs thru MS- that must be done either online at the member's site, thru the AP site or onsite at WDW at any of the Guest Services offices. they usually allow a 30 day grace period for renewing at the reduced rate- if it's later than that, it may actually be a better deal to just purchase a new AP and get the full year of use instead of the renewal losing days.

I have tried over and over to log onto the AP site to see room offers etc., and I can never get on.

I renewed my AP this past June thru MS with no problems.

For some reason in the past few days you can't get into the Ap site....even from DVC. I asked someone at DVC about that this morning and he really didn't know anything about why. He said maybe since they upped the price it was updating the site. But, I was on it last week and the prices had updated. I'm not sure what is going on.
