My wife and I just lined up someone to watch the kids and we are getting away for a few days (the kids will join us next time).

We have never been to DisneyWorld but have always wanted to go. We don't want to spend a huge amount of money, but still want to be taken care of (read -- no cooking or cleaning).

We want to arrive night of 3/31/04 (Wed) and depart evening of 4/4/04 (Sun). Yes, that 2004!

Can it be done given our insanely short lead time? Suggestions?

Of course it can be done. Have a great time. But I think you're a rotter for not taking the kids.

There is likely still some avaialbility for that time at a number of WDW hotels so call and check. I think your real problem, if anything, is going to be air travel if you are flying; I would check on availability of that and price before actually making a resort reservation.
