I am planning a family reunion trip in September. Eight of us will be staying at BCV. Four others will be at BWV. Will my two grandchildren who are staying at BWV be able to come and swim at BCV? Four of the adults that will be at BCV will NOT be using the pool. Any comments or suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

As long as the adults who are with the grandchildren have BCV keys, there is no way for anyone to know where they are staying. :thumbsup2

I've been at SAB before to see CMs asking each member of a party for a BC room key, including all children. I would just be aware that sometimes they do ask for resort ID from each member of the group.

That is what I have seen as well. Even the little kids (3 yrs and older).

But if you are all DVC members, you could hop over to Luna Park so everyone could swim together.

When we check in they ask who needs a room key? We have APs so our park admission isn't added to our room key. Why would you give a room key to a 3 year old?

So the 3 yr old can get a wrist band for EMH at night??? They usually scan every family members' room key before they give you a wrist band. And if you want the kiddo to get into SAB.

Do you have accomodations that would allow you to list the grandkids as staying in your room? With a group, DDP credits will probably be pooled anyway. It seems like that would be fine - if you'd be within the occupancy guidelines for your rooms, nobody is going to check to see where the kids are actually sleeping.

Are your reservations already at max room capacity at BCV if not just add the grandkids so they are BCV guests

Thank you all for your suggestions. I will add the kids on at BCV. My new grandson will only be two and that is why I want BCV. . . . that pool is so great for little ones. Do you need a wristband to use SAB? Thanks again!!!

Yes, each guest will have to show a room ID from the BC/YC/BCV in order to get a wrist band to enter SAB.

Are you getting the Dining Plan? You'll have to pay for each of the kids you add to your room as well for the dining plan.

You won't have to pay for the two year old GS, or anyone else under three. You'll want to make sure you don't list 3-10 year olds more than once to avoid being charged DDP for them.
