Can I book a room-only, with a DC discount, through the 407 WDISNEY phone number? I'm trying to make a reservation, but when I call the DC toll-free number, they want $100/deposit and payment 45 days out. If this isn't possible, can I make a ressie at rack rate, pay the 1-night deposit, then call back & apply a DC discount? I'm wanting to try to get this reservation today so I apologize if I seem to be repeating myself. TIA. Sandy

All Disney Club discounted rooms have to be booked through WDTC. You do not have the option of booking it through CRO.

Terms for DC members are $100 deposit and balance due 21 days before arrival. Sorry but there is no way to get around this cancellation/deposit policy if you want to apply a DC discount to any reservation.

That is what I was afraid of. Thanks for you help. Now I'm not sure what I will do. Our plans are still not firm as to if we can go or not, I just don't want to wait too long (for an A/P discount or code) and miss out on a room. Sandy

AAA gives same or similar discount %, requires deposit of one night's stay, full payment on arrival and can cancel without penalty up to five nights before arrival. AAA membership is around $40-50 a year. You can book with AAA through CRO - sometimes they ask your member #, sometimes they don't.
