Can I walk from DTD to Saratoga Springs

If we wanted to walk from DTD where would we go to walk to either POFQ or SS?

As DTD is a big place, I want to see which "end" we would have to be... ie by La Nouba end or by bus terminal end. Hope this makes sense??? LOL

Yes, you can walk to SS, not POFQ. It would be form the marketplace/bus terminal end.

Yes, it is safe. How long would depend on where in SS you want to go. I'd say anywhere from 5-20 minutes.

The walk is very safe to SSR. The paths are wide and at night, they are well lit. The walk to get to Congress Park (the first section of SSR you will come to when walking from DTD) will take about 10 minutes. It would then take you another 5 minutes or so to walk to the Carriage House where the Springs Rock Pool, counter service, store, spa, restaurant is. There are maps along the pathway to help you navigate once you reach SSR.

If you ask for a villa in Congress Park, the walk is truly 5 minutes or less. The Paddock is also not too far. The resort is very large, so other areas you may want to take the boat. SSR is great if plan on spending time in DTD. If you want to go to POFQ or POR, you will need the boat or bus, no way to walk it safely.

We just returned from SSR and had a room facing DTD in the Congress Park area. From where our room was it was quicker to walk to DTD than the boat dock at SSR.
