Hey guys I am back and I had a amazing time no matter how short it was. Looks like i have to wait 5 months till my 1st Disney cruise and 10 months till im back in the world. Im constantly trying to find ways to make the 3 hour drive back down there but I remember I have bills! I promise to update soon but I have to work tomorrow and this weekend. I am off friday but I will not be out there shopping. Last year was enough. Besides I already got my DS stuff. I just wanted to wish a Happy Thanksgiving to all of you celebrating tomorrow! I am thankful for this little trip I had back to the world since my DS is back in atlanta with all my family since he was out of school all week and I had to work! I am thankful for my family and friends and the job I do have to help pay for this disney habit me and the DS got!

Once we got off TOT we stopped and got a photo.
Pay no attention to my frumpy clothes and hat and hair.
It was hot!

Our next stop was to use our FP+ on star tours.
Which we did not need at all because it was a walk on in the stand by line!

We left and went around the corner to meet a few people

It was almost 11 so we made our way over to make our
ADR with one quick pic!

We arrived our destination with minutes to spear. The hostess told us they were still having breakfast and would seat us at 11.

So I dragged my SIS and the boys and we made a this hat pic!

At 11:06 we were called in for our ADR at Hollywood and vine

I was worried about this ADR. I only hear horrible things about this place but my kid loves Jake and the nephew loves Handy Mandy, so it was a must.

Devyn got a cupcake and autographed card for his birthday!

And because a cupcake was not enough for desert, he had some chocolate covered marshmallows and Pineapples

So in conclusion, I, For the life of me I cannot figure out why this place gets such horrible reviews. It has become one of our favorites and my mom has already requested it for our next trip. The food was good, the service was excellent, and the characters came around several times!!!! This was my SIS favorite meal as far as food goes. We discovered that we loved the places that get bad reviews and did not like those with good reviews like Ohana! the food was not good there!
I plan on trying breakfast next September. I cannot remember if I mentioned it but I booked a bounceback with free dining for next September. I booked just Dev and I but at the all-star sports resort. It is just enough for the two of us and when I asked Dev if he wanted sports or a pirate room, at CBR, he said sports!!

After lunch it was almost time to meet at 12:50 for
JTA, we had 20 minutes to spare, so I had to stop to say hey to Walt!

JTA

We went to the meeting area, the same place you go to sign up. They give you a little ticket when you sign up and you will need it upon arrival so keep it close.

They will line the kids up by height and dress them in your robes and walk outside. It was soooo hot! I was melting. At least the kids got some shade!

I took so many photos but there was also a photopass guy there and the pictures were amazing!!! So I will only use the photopass ones but word of advice, Take your own photos. My nephew only got 2 pictures when he was fighting due to a malfunction. Then my camera was filled by then.

This guy was hilarious.
Like every 5 words out his mouth had me laughing so hard!

Ok, I am sure you have seen enough!
It was so cute!
All the kids were really serious about it too!
They get a certificate after they finish.

It was so hot outside and because we were coming back to the park and staying late, we left the park to go back for a nap.
On the way out we stopped to see some monsters.

The boys were so confused. I blame the heat!

I'm glad you had such a great experience at H&V! I was really considering adding it at the last minute before our trip because suddenly Paxton is all into Little Einsteins and Special Agent Oso. Now I'm kind of disappointed that we didn't! I think he would have loved it.

Hey Guys so I took devyn t see his 1st movie at the theater or giant screen or arcave as he calls it. Why he calls it that I have no idea! Anyway we went to see Frozen and it really is that good and he liked it as he wants to go back but that maybe has to do with the popcorn. My kid loves popcorn. Anyway he and I are still singing the songs in our heads so go see it!




As soon as we got back to the room everyone fell asleep. Even me!

After an hour long nap it was time to get up. We had to back in HS to use our TSM FP by 4:50. The boat was packed already but we made it on and went straight to TSM. We made it with 10 minutes to spare before 4:50pm. The ride was fun as usual. This was the best thing about FP+. We did not have to go rush to get them in the morning.

After our ride, we went over to the streets of America where we caught the end of characterpalooza.

Then we went over to Pizza Planet for dinner.
I got pepperoni and dev got cheese. He ate all of his and then took half of mine!

After we ate, It was almost 7 and I wanted to go in line for the special meet and greats for the villains. I told my family that they could go do what they wanted and I would wait in line. I must say I did not expect to see such a long line over an hour before this event but I should have. I saw a whole bunch of groups in front of each of the meet areas and one long line coming from them all. I assumed it was one line for each 3 sets. Turns out that long line from Indian Jones all the way to the other side of the lake past Hollywood and vine was only one of the lines. I sure would have got in a shorter, closer line if I would have known. It was good to know that I wasn't the only crazy one waiting though. People got in line after me. The line I was in alternated between maleficent and boulder head guy. Somehow the lines got shorter and switched. Once the meets started the lines moved very slow. As I got closer almost after 9!! The line had three rows to go through.
BTW whole watching FROZEN we say the preview for the new movie Maleficent and I must see it!!! That and Saving Mrs. Banks are the movies that I must see!!

While I was standing like crazy, my family enjoyed meeting Buzz and Woody.

They met up with me and I was very close!!!

Jafar and boogie. Glad I did not get in that line. Till this day I am scared of that movie the nightmare before Christmas, especially that guys musical number.

When I finally got up to the line with three rows I realized the line had stopped moving. It turns out everyone in that line was waiting on maleficent and they were letting people go by to meet boulder head guy.
This bothered me because it slowed the line down and people in the back where just there as the mass loads of people were waiting on the next character.
I was impatient and I was at the point where I just wanted a picture with someone, anyone. These lovely girls behind me who were on the DCP and kindly entertained me through this long wait, offered to hold my stroller since my mom could not hear me. So dev and I ran under the ropes and got this one picture after a 3 hour wait. I love my little guys smile!!

So I was there!!!

Disney and their unorganized events! This was poorly executed. No one to manage lines so it was a mad house by the time 8 started and no one knew anything about the characters or where the lines where before the event. There should have been some map or something letting people know which line was what. I think a better approach would have been one line for all the characters so all that confusion and chaos maybe would have been better controlled. However, I still love WDW and I will still be back!

While in line, the gossip I heard included,

"It is almost 9 and the characters are not out because it was so crowded, they could not find a way to get them out safely"

“My friend said the parking lot was full and they are directing people to EPCOT and riding the boats/buses over!!

“The traffic was so bad at 9pm, my friend just went home"

"My friend said Epcot and HS parking lots were full, so they are going to Animal Kingdom"

Pure craziness it was. After my meet, we knew it was a lost cause but wanted to stay for the fireworks. We tried to get on some rides but they were closing the area due to the fireworks and the ride lines were just as long as ever.

We walked through a massive crowd and devyn managed to get a picture with this guy. He was in the middle of the crowd and although he had a character attendant, there was no line but people walking up so Dev kindly walked up to him and got a picture

We found some peace and quiet in the animation studios. NO one was in there except people waiting for the class which was 20 minutes away and already full. We walked out and Dev found a pic that he loves

Too bad it was so pricy. The kid Loved this!

We left out and went to the park exit where we saw the fireworks. This turned out to be an amazing view from here. Sorry I got no pictures! They were amazing though and good thing we were already out. The line for the boat was a mile long but was even longer later on. Even with the nap I was exhausted. I remember the days when I would go to MK with my parents, stay up all day, and was never tired. Those days are long gone!

Next day was Animal Kingdom

Today we went to Animal Kingdom and a day seriously lacking in photos. Due to the fact we were up late I put aside the alarm and went for a late morning. Which turned out to be a 9 am wake up call, even though I was up way before that.

The boys were ready with their Mickey hats and Pins

We went straight to see finding nemo show due to a FP+for the 11 am show but the theater was no way full 5 minutes before the show so it really wasn't needed. This is one of my favorite attractions! I know all the words because, Disney geek alert!

I won't bore you with the horrible pictures I took here!

After the show we walked over to Restaurantosaurus for lunch!
Devyn got the corn dog nuggets and I got chicken nuggets. I have always loved nuggets since I was kid!
Ds was pleased with the sand bucket they put the Kids meals in. He lost in stormalang bay though!








After Lunch we were on our way to ride dinosaur but we stopped on the way to meet a few friends

Goofy was asking if he made the book!

Goofy tried to get a hug but DS went straight to pluto!

On TJ’s turn Goofy got his hug first and was very happy

We made our way over to Dinosaur.

This ride seemed to change from the last time and the point where they take your photo just has everyone looking crazy!

DS wanted to ride the green dinosaurs so that is what we did next.
While everyone else rode the coaster across the way, we got a cold snack. I love these things!

We made our way to Asia. I was hoping to get DS on EE. However, he was just not tall enough. While he is well over 40 inches he still has 2 more to go to reach the required 44 inches. Next September it is!

My mom volunteered to stay with him while we rode. This was TJ’S first ride on the coaster. We gave him the option of who he wanted to ride with and he chose his tee tee of course!

He asked Not to ride this again!!

After searching for the yeti we made our way to Africa to use our safari FP.

This turned out to be a very good one! We had to stop because a couple of zebras were walking across the street. Just taking their time. Several animals were out, which was unexpected with this heat!

After our ride, we came out and were trapped because of the parade. So we went in a couple of stores and spent no money, This time anyway!

We headed straight to FOTLK. It was the last show of the day and Dsis has never seen it. It is my absolute favorite show ever! And it has nothing to do with this nice looking performer! Come on! Don't act like you don't see him!

After the show the park was closed so we made our way out and I took one last picture!

So we had a nice, relaxed, fun filled day at AK but we were not done for the day. We are going to a BBQ!



We caught the bus to Fort Wilderness and we almost got lost. It was kind of confusing with the internal bus system but we made it!

We picked up our tickets at the hotel. Upon arrival they will take those and you stand in line. They will sit you upon arrival. They are no assigned seats. There was all kinds of food there and at this dining experience, Alcohol is included and so are Mickey bars! TJ was all over these as soon as we walked in.

The food was good, the ice cream was the best. The dance floor is kind of chaotic though. The characters will go dance on the floor and all the kids flocked towards them. Except my DS, He just wanted to run around but I could not get him to dance with Mickey on this day!

We did not stay the whole time. We left 30 minutes before it was scheduled to end but we were ok with that. In all this was fun but this is not something I would book every trip but I would like to do this again someday. I thinkwe will try HDDMR next time.

We left and took the boat to MK and the hotel back to the bus. DS was happy to see his monorail!

It was still early and the others had not got a chance to go the pool so, off we went. What was even more perfect was watching illuminations from the pool.

It was perfect! If only I could make my self stay here all the time but I refuse to spend half a months rent on one night in a hotel!

Next day: We finally make it to the Magic Kingdom

We did! Sad its over
I would go back but it isn't a must do for me. Probably becasue I was hot and the DS was not into it.
