Can I use Disney Visa Rewards to buy Disney Gift Card?

If I have my Disney Visa Rewards transferred to a Rewards Card, they expire in one year. Can I use this Rewards Card to purchase a Disney Gift Card from the Disney Store? Do Disney Gift Cards expire?

Nope...I asked...I tried...no dice...It was awhile ago, and I don't remember the reason they gave. I know that doesn't give you much for answers-but that was the long and short of my experience.

I have transferred my Disney Rewards and used for the purchase of a Disney Gift Card. I did it on DisneyShopping.com. As far as I know, the Gift Cards do not expire. The Disney Rewards Card does have an expiration date.
