Can I upgrade from a PH to an AP at DD?

I will be going to Disney June 2 and still have a 7 day unused PH. I am upgrading it to the annual pass. Can I do this at Downtown Disney or at the Disney store at the airport, or do I have to go to the TTC?

Yes you can! I upgraded at Downtown Disney Guest Relations. I also had the 7 day. At first CM tried to tell me I could only upgrade to the Premium AP. I told her I should be able to get full credit for the ticket applied to an AP since I had not used any pluses. I only paid something like $80 extra.

If you have a 7 day PH that you bought from an online broker, like TicketMania, can you upgrade that to an AP? Someone told me that if you try to upgrade a ticket like that, you get less credit towards the AP. Supposedly this is because the online broker got the ticket from Disney for less than the regular price.

As Michelle said, it can be done at either Guest Relations at DTD. But it cannot be done at the airport shop.

You can still upgrade a Ticketmania ticket (or one from any other ticket broker) but you will receive slightly less than what you paid for it. The reason is that Disney will not give you credit for the profit markup that the discounters charged you.
