Can I transfer points online?

I may want to transfer some points to another member. May I do that online or must I call MS? I have four points that will expire if I don't use them by Jan 31, and I'd just as soon give them to a member who can use them rather than let them vanish. But, if I have to go to the effort of finding a member who wants them and then go through the time it takes to call MS to effect the transfer I don't know whether I want to do it. I haven't been a member all that long, but in my limited experience I have found that it sometimes takes a looooonnngg time to get MS to answer the phone. I love Disney music as much as anyone else, but to listen to it on hold for too long is tiresome.

At this time there is no way to transfer online. Is there no way you can bank them?

Hi Castleri, I cannot bank them as they are banked from last year. When I look on the website at my "points detail" it shows me my annual allocation plus four points for this year, and "points available to bank" is exactly the amount of my annual allocation.

I don't think banked points can be transferred. You can use them, along with some of your current points, to make a reservation for someone else if you can't get to WDW before Jan 31. Otherwise, I think they'll be lost.

Ooooohhhh, thanks Chuck. I don't think I was aware of that. I guess I'd better figure out some way to use those points myself before expiration.

Those who don't have an urgent matter (like making day by day reservations for early December) shouldconsider calling MS in the late afternoon in the middle of the week. There's seldom a wait at that time and you're more likely to get a CM who isn't all stressed out by the number of calls in the queue. JMHO. YMMV.

Not betting with you, LOL - but there is a reason MS chose a Wednesday for the "Dialing Derby".
