can I test a countdown timer offline?

I'm trying to change my countdown timer and am playing around with it trying to line things up - as the boards are so slow it is taking hours - is it possible to run the applet offline so that I can sort it out of the boards and just put the finished thing into my signature when I am done?

Sure can Bev, even if you don't have an HTML editor, which I'll assume you don't. Here is what I do in that case.

On my desktop, I create a .txt file and save the HTML code into it. I then rename it to have a .html extention. Double click on it and it should open in in your browser. To make changes, I just right click the window and View Source. I make the changes I want to try, do a File / Save and then refresh the browser window.
