I am sitting here and it is 10 p.m. in europe and it is still 97 degrees outside. I feel like I am melting.....if only it were that easy. How's the weather in your neck of the woods? If it is hot how does it effect your workout? I have been having a hard time keeping my heart rate down during my cardio workouts since the heat has decended upon us, sure hope it passes quickly.

It hasn't been that hot here in awhile. Make sure you drink plenty of water so you don't dehydrate. It can really sneak up on you. When it is that hot outside, I think it best to only walk and not run. Heat exhaustion (sp?) is not a pretty way to meet your neighbors ;)

Hottest day of the summer here in england at 37º

Workout????

Ha - I get to 70 crunches and that's it. The sweat just makes it imposiible to even concentrate!!!! I've been trying to get up to my daily 100 but sorry, just too hot - Had to make up for it by doing an extra mile today.

Elise, I hear you about the heat and exercise. Yesterday topped out at 41 C (114 F) it was awful! Right now at 8am it is 81F (feels like 91 with the humidity) so I am off to the gym before it gets too, too hot.

Yeah, you stay hydrated there, Missy! ;)

I had no idea how hot it was over there. Saw something on the news about the heat all over Europe, yikes! Sending some cooler weather pixie dust your way!

Well you probably can't sweat the weight away but I would imagine your body is burning extra calories to make all that sweat to keep you cool. Maybe? ;)

Debbi, the worst thing as you probably may already have noticed, is that in Europe Air Conditioning is not something too many people use or have. I remember those days!!!

In Atlanta, I think that we have only one day withthe temperture above 90 degrees. This is very unusual.

God bless, best wishes, and encouragement, RaySharpton:)

Olga, you are correct! You can't even go to the mall or a restaurant here to cool off, it really stinks. The only real AC we have is in our car and then we bought a very expensive ($850) Italian room AC for our bedroom, I feel like we are melting. It is pretty bad when a 7 year old comments about the lack of AC. When we arrived in Milan from the US Tyler said, "mom, why isn't the AC on, it is so hot in here!" I told him welcome back to europe! You are right european's are not big on AC, I think they are nuts!

I just checked our weather and we will be in the high 90's to low 100's for the next 10 days.....ARGH, I am going to melt!
