Hi all,
I went to orlando last September from the 14th and was i surprised the parks could not have been more empty. I had persuaded my wife to go to florida and had then kept on letting her know that we would have to spend a lot of time in queues, which was the reason she did not want to go.
when we got to the parks every one was prattically empty, we never queued longer than 10 minutes and that was without fastpasses.
I think this might have been because all the American and UK kids where at school.

What do you guys think?

Cool chris.:smooth:

We used to go in June but for the last few visits have changed to late August/early September because the crowds have gone home by the 3rd week in August and the weather is still hot :smooth:

Only downside is that park hours and shows are cut down end of August but then again as the crowds are few, like you say, you can just walk on to most things and only a 10 min wait for the more popular things.

Anyway we have just booked for last week August/first week Sept again :bounce: :Pinkbounc

We went in September 2000 and to be fair didn't really notice a major difference in terms of crowds compared to June. Longest queue was still for Splash Mountain (as ever) touching an hour and a half.

Weather was more settled although two days it rained non-stop. In June we have tended to have showers for a few hours in the afternoon but it has dried up fairly quickly after that.

Park opening hours are not so long either compared to June.

Personally I prefer June, but then again any time is a great time to go to WDW.

If I didn't have kids I would totally avoid going on holiday in the UK/US school holidays. How lucky you are if you can go in June or Septmeber;)

Bah Humbug:p

The parks are much quieter in September

However:

Opening hours reduced (by almost 5 hours compared to July)
Some Rides are closed
No fireworks at Disney
And it still rains like June!
