Can I start to pack yet????

We have 25 more days until we leave! I've been trying to control myself until Easter passed, but now that it's over, I can't remain calm anymore!!!! Can I start to pack now? Is that silly? I have all the clothes piled up in my closet, and I have my big box of Disney necessities (toys for kids, all the toiletries, etc. etc.) all filled up. Would it be crazy to get the suitcases out????

No, that is not crazy, and if it is, im in line with you. We dont leave till may 26th, and my suitcases are out already!!!! I am going to start putting stuff in today!!! I am ready, doing the happy dance with my kids around my suitcases!!

Go ahead and pack!! We're not going until October and I haven't been able to control myself and have already bought our shampoos, soaps, new toothbrushes, etc. It would drive me if I didn't.

Tell me about it. I can hardly contain myself!! We leave a week from TODAY!!! I have to pack everything for our wedding, our 11 night honeymoon!!! I have all our clothes re-washed, folded neatly and ready to start packing! I have all our snacks bought... getting all the batteries, chargers, memory cards...all that stuff out and put together!! I can't take it! I can't wait!!!

You mean you haven't packed yet. My DW is always packed so early it drives me crazy. She keeps dropping hints about putting my things in the bag. I always say, "what am I suppose to wear for the next 3 weeks before our vacation if I pack now."

I think its an excuse to buy new stuff for her and the DDs before any vacation.

Go ahead get them out, I did that today and we don't leave for 48 days. I just couldn't wait another minute. DH is going to flip when he gets home

Pack!! We leave in 23 days and I'm ready too. I didn't want to do it too soon either, but I have a pile GROWing on the rocking chair in my room as I shop and go through the tubs of summer clothes. It's time too pack! I febreezed the suitcases and they'll be ready for clothes tomorrow!
Pack away and enjoy!!! We'll be there in about 3 1/2 weeks!!!

Another vote to go ahead and pack! If I wasn't using my suitcases for a quick out of town trip in June, I'd already be packed and we don't leave until August, the END of August! It's so nice to so other wanna be packers!

Man, I'm excited too. I think I'm getting the luggage out and starting tonight. We leave on Sunday April 30th. I have all the little toys, snacks, etc purchased and ready to go.

The only thing I'm worried about, is getting my hopes and anticipation up too high. My parents are going with us, and my sister. They don't seem excited at all. I mean, I think they are excited to go, but are so busy at work that they haven't thought about anything beforehand. No advanced planning or anything. They will probably throw things in a bag the night before and go. I am practically begging them to give me what groceries they want to put on our list....

Anyway, my parents fight, my Dad is hard of hearing and you practically have to shout everything at him 3 or 4 times to get him to understand a simple phrase. Plus we are traveling with a 2 year old. I'm excited but stressed. I hope we're not setting ourselves up for a huge disappointment...

Sorry about rambling and the hijack. I wonder if this happens to anyone else, and if the actual trip won't live up to expectations....

So, yes! go ahead and pack. I am feeling the same way.

I will be very jealous of you when it is the night before my trip and I am up till all hours packing, or yelling at my kids to pack(15 and 19). However I have many lists and just would not be happy without last minute commotion.
