Can I ride these while kids take naps at resort??

We are leaving on Tuesday

Do you think while DH is at the room with the kids during naptime I can get these rides in??
I figure I will have about 2 hours.
We are staying at the GF. What do you think? Any suggestions?

I don't think you'd be able to acccomplish riding all three of those in one afternoon, but heck two outta three ain't bad, right? If your DH could handle getting the little ones up and ready and out the door and could meet you at EPCOT after naptime, you'd have no problem I bet.

Not to burst your bubble but no. It'll take you some time to get from the Grand Floridian, change monorails at the TTC and then go over to Epcot. The three attractions all need FastPasses or you'll be in line for your entire time. Do the Kid Swap with your husband instead.

Your kids will like Imagination. And they'd love Turtle Talk with Crush but that, unfortunately is closed right now.

Let me start out by saying you have a great DH. I think you will be pushing it. Will you already be in Epcot, when he takes the kids back? Even if you have fastpass, I am not sure if you could make it. That's just my 2 cents worth. On the subject of Figment, my 4 year old was a little disturbed by the noises and she is not that scary. It just depends on your kiddos. Now the 8 month old will probably be ok, we took my DD on alot of rides at that age and she smiled through all of them.

Michele, my DH is afraid to ride all the good ones I am hoping once we get there he changes his mind, but if not, I sure would like to ride atleast one thrill! We hadn't planned on spending a lot of time at Epcot because it doesn't seem like the attractions will really appeal to my little ones. My soon to be 2 year old will love Dumbo and mild kid-friendly things like that, but shows and loud noises may freak him out.

I agree that is going to be pushing it and if you are anything like me you won't enjoy yourself if your worrying about getting back in time.

I would also like to point out that even when our kids were small our family LOVED Epcot, especially in the evenings. If you have park hoppers consider doing mornings at the MK, AK and Epcot. Take your pool/nap break and then head to Epcot. My kids loved the sights and sounds of the WS especially all the live entertainment. At 2 my youngest was just taken with the acrobats in China and asked to see them every day! There are some great rides and attractions for kids, no it isn't MK, but please don't rule out Epcot. Its DH and My favorite park and hey its our vacation too right?? Consider heading to Epcot one afternoon to do your rides and have DH dh meet you back at Epcot with the kids for the evening.

This won't work for everyone but what we would do is spend a long morning in a park until say 1-3 ish and then a pool/nap break. They we would head to Epcot for counter service dinner (they have great choices plus the F&W). About 7ish I would take the kids and change them into PJ's, put them in the stoller with the bottle/sippy and off to sleep they would eventually go. Then with the kids happy in the stroller DH and I felt a little like we had an evening to ourselves without having to leave the kiddos.

I think you might be pushing it a bit, too, but as a way to maximize your rides, don't forget that Test Track has a single riders line. If I were you, I'd try to get a FP for either MS or Soarin, then ride TT in the single rider line, then wait in the lllooonnggg line for the ride you don't have the FP for, then ride the last one with the FP. That way, you "should" only have one long line to wait in.

MS also has a single rider line.

I would have your family be in Epcot in the morning and have your husband also use his ticket for you for fast passes. Then he can take the kids back and you can stay and do the rides.

It might just work out if you can time the fast passes right.

With both MS and TT having Single Rider Lines, I would go over to Soarin' and Check out the wait. If the line is short, ride it first. Otherwise, get a fast pass and go across to TT and MS. Then ride Soarin' during your Fastpass window.

I also wanted to ad that my kids have always *loved* EPCOT. I was very surprised but it really is their favorite park. now we actually spend one day in FW and one day in the WAS since they like everything so much - innovations alone takes us several hours usually LOL

is there areason you need to be back exactly when they wake up?( ie nursing mom or something) someone just posted on another thread how it is dead right now very little waiting, we usually go in Jan so maybe our ideas of "dead" are different but i think you would come close( we rode tt and ms within maybe 15 mins on a Jan morning) soaring wasn't open but if you fp one first,unless the fp is for really late you should be able to do it. alternative would be to hop over there first thing one morning and you could easily ride those 3 pretty fast.( like i said , i'm going on empty now like empty Jan) or if the wait's too long get a fp for soaring for use during naptime and go during the kids naps

I'd get a FP for Soarin' ASAP and then single ride for Test Track and then you'll probably be able to walk right on Mission (at least we did over and over again in May)--no wait for this at all. We had no problem with this in May, but it all depends on the FP time/wait at Soarin'. If all the stars line up...Also, this all depends on if you are already in Epcot a the time like another poster said. Good luck and have fun.

If you are able to get a FP for Soarin during that time, I think you could do all 3. You'd need to have a FP for at least one of them and of them, Soarin's stand by is usually the longest. Followed by TT. Followed by M:S. M:S actually doesn't usually have a terribly long standby.

Get the FP for Soarin as soon as possible, earlier in the day if you can. Then head over to TT for the single rider line. I've never actually seen a wait of more than 20 minutes for single riders. Then hit Mission Space as a single rider. You'll probably walk right on that one because the line moves really fast.
Then head back over to Soarin. I do not think there is a singles line for that one.

As for Figment, it's bright but also dark in some places which might frighten little ones. TT with Crush would amuse the almost 2 yo. but the baby would probably be bored. Mom & Dad would like it best. I don't even have kids and this is one of my favorite WDW things.

They all (or at least did in June & July) have a singles only line. You may be able to try. If you time the monorail right, don't take a purse or anything in with you, you can skip the bag check & then run run run over to TT & MS, you can most likely get them done, then depending on how much is left over, you can try Soarin, but that may place you over your 2 hour time frame gettin you back.... but if you are up for a fast pace try.. I would say go for it, if you DH is ok with staying with the kids.... Do you have a car, if you drive to Epcot, it will be much better. You more than likely will get all 3 in using the car & single only lanes... have fun

having just come back weds. if the wait was anything lik we had.... run over to soarin' get a fast pass and then go do MS and TT.... it could be accomplished in minimal time.... of course that would depend on how long it took you to get over there..... and back of course but to ride the rides... we were able to do them in aobut 1.5 hours...and that was tt 2 times
