Is Roger Rabbit's Cartoon Spin safe to ride if your pregnant? I've read that it's kind of like Mr. Toad's Wild Ride which seems tame to me. I've not suffered any motion sickness so I know that won't be a problem. I just want to make sure it is safe for the baby before I consider riding. Thanks DL Vets!:worship:

It's a dark ride with lots of black light and bright paint. But it spins like the teacups. It's mildly jerky but nothing like Indiana Jones.

Does the disneyland website have a health warning for it??

I've never really gotten sick from spinning rides but the spinning with the bright paint does give me a headache.

You can ride it and just not spin the car much though. And then it's just like any other dark ride.

You dont have to spin the car if you dont want to, but it still jerks you a bit. I wouldnt go, just to be safe.

It also depends on how far along you are. Last time we went I was about 7 week and rode everything (she turned out fine). The smaller the baby the more cushion it has so the more you can do from what I have been told. I have no problems with my pregnancy's thought so you may also want to take that into consideration also. This time I will be about 22 weeks and am debating on Splash.

O.o sounds like it will scare little children

It's not bad - my little ones love it. Lots of fun color and not a scary theme - everything is really cartoony.

Like Jane said, you don't have to spin it at all. It will turn slowly at certain points. I get horribly sick on the Teacups, and Roger Rabbit doesn't bother me one bit.

I rode it when I was Extremely pregnant and was fine. I don't consider the motions "jerky" at all. Now TSMM, that is swishy/jerky, as in "Whoa, Nelly we just got swept away by the twister!":lmao:

Personally, I would not ride it. I rode it when I was pg with DS#2 and was terrified the entire time because I did not know how jerky it was. IMO, it's VERY jerky! I wouldn't want to risk it, but that's me.

I wouldn't either. I don't get carsick or motion sick, but it WAS jerky enough for me to swear it off forever.

It's not that bad. It does spin by itself but you can stop it by holding tightly to the spinning wheel. lol DBF and I do not like to spin but we like the ride (most of the time lol) so he holds the car steady while the girls are in front of us spinning insanely! LOL

Toy Story Midway Mania. Very fun and not that jerky - it is just a very speedy, whooshy sort of turn as the vehicles rotate to the next screens. My 20 month old simply loves the speedy turn, but I always feel I have to hold on to her extra tight cause it's so quick.

Another important note that is great for pregnant women on TSMM - the lap bars on that ride are excellent - they split to allow 2 different body sizes and also they come down far enough that my baby girl is held in very solidly.
