Can I request this and get it?

In January we are in a 2 bedroom for the first week, but we have a change of guests. It will be just us and our DD the first 4 nights. Then DBIL, DSIL and DN come in for 3 nights, but DD overlaps 1 night with them. I'd like to get a full cleaning for the studio portion only on day 4. I'm wondering if anyone has ever done that? Will they allow us to have the full cleaning for the second bedroom only, or will they make us do the whole 2 bedroom?

Can be done (as long as you are in a lock-off 2BR). When there just call housekeeping and request a full cleaning for the particular room (studio) for the one day.

You are going to pay for the 2 bedroom full cleaning anyway but if you only want the 1 bedroom cleaned, just tell Mousekeeping when they come to clean.

There are limited housekeeping services. If you want more than is provided, there are fees.

Trash & Towel Service
For stays of seven or less nights, Trash & Towel Service is provided on day four, regardless of whether you're using Member-discounted cash, Vacation Points or a combination of both.

With Trash & Towel service, Housekeeping will:

Empty trash and replace liners in trash bins.
Provide fresh bathroom linens.
Replace shampoo, facial soap and bath soap.
Replenish facial tissues, paper towels and toilet paper.
Replenish coffee, sugar, cream and sweeteners.
Replenish dishwashing liquid, dishwashing detergent, sponges and laundry detergent as needed in one-, two- and three-bedroom Vacation Homes.

Full Cleaning Service
For stays of eight or more nights, Full Cleaning Service is provided on day four and Trash & Towel Service is provided on day eight. After that, the cycle begins again on day 12, regardless of whether you're using Member-discounted cash, Vacation Points or a combination of both.

With Full Cleaning service, Housekeeping will provide everything included with the Trash & Towel Service, plus:

Change the bed linens.
Vacuum and dust the Vacation Home.
Clean the bathroom(s).
Clean the kitchen/kitchenette and wash the dishes.

Pay As You Play
All accommodations offer daily housekeeping service with a 24-hour notice and an additional fee.

Pay As You Play
With Pay As You Play service, you'll be provided with the following amenities free of charge at the start of your stay. After that, you may purchase more for the following fees:

Toiletries Package, $5.00 - 1 facial soap, 1 bath soap, 1 shampoo, 1 conditioner, 1 shower gel
Coffee Package, $3.00 - 1 package of coffee, 8 sugars, 8 creamers, 8 artificial sweeteners
Towel Package, $6.00 - 4 bath towels, 2 hand towels, 4 washcloths, 1 bath mat
Laundry Detergent (only in One-, Two-, and Three-bedroom Vacation Homes), $1.00 - 1 box

Additional Full Cleaning Rates:
Studio/Inn Room - $30.00 per day requested
One-Bedroom - $45.00 per day requested

For a 7 night stay you only get the trash collected, fresh towels and supplies restocked on day 4. If you want a full clean on day 4, stay another night or pay $60.

Being new can be tough.

Thanks. What if we need more than 4 towels? We have to buy the use of another one or bring our own? I'm just thinking about washing hair (3 girls) and also pool use etc.

There are pool towels at the pools for pool use.

You can wash your towels if you are staying in a 1BR or larger. The washer and dryer is in the room. That is what I usually do, because I like to wash the towels after 1 or 2 uses.

We just bought in a few days ago at 180. Which will exactly cover our two trips a year in a studio. I'm hoping to add on more points later but for now it is a studio for us. I'd MUCH prefer the 1 bedroom as I think the kitchen for breakfast is a GREAT idea!

I would assume it's not feasible to get just the studio cleaned of a 2 BR lockoff without paying for the entire unit. Just ask to have the T&T the day you need it and ask for clean sheets. All you'll have to do is change the bed, you'll have toiletries, clean towels, etc. It's unlikely they'll charge you for the sheets but certainly less than a full cleaning.

Dean, that is exactly what I was hoping to do. I planned to do it myself if I could get the sheets. I don't particularily want to wash the sheets myself.

Actually, I just had another thought. I could take the sheets off the bed our DD is sleeping in for the first 3 nights and put those on the sleep sofa for her that one night where she is overlapping with the in -laws. Then I can take the new sheets that are in the closet for sleep sofa and put those on the bed. I don't know why I didn't think of that before!

Congrats!

Don't ever stay in a 1br then because going back to a Studio will be tough.
