Can I rejoin?

Hi,

I joined this a while ago and never really lost any weight.
I went to curves and was walking and just got discouraged when I was not losing weight. I lost inches, though.

Now, well, I am back at the beginning and I am sick of it.
I look like one of those Disney Wobblers.
I used to wear a size 5 now I am a size 14. I hate it, hate it, hate it.

I started on my treadmill yesterday and I promised my kids I would do DDR with them tonight when they get back from a friends house.

Any other suggestions?
Please take me back...help me stay focused.

Absolutely - I've come back a couple of times now and I'm here until this weight is gone!!!!! One thing I can tell you that is making a HUGE difference for me so far is writing everything I eat down, and I mean everything!!!! Don't take too much fat and carbs out as your body needs those to help burn calories as well as a little sugar.

Maybe join some of us up in the journaling section. We are really supportive when you have had a good day or a bad day and it helps you to see where you have slid on a certain day.

My nephew is getting married this weekend and there are going to be a lot of goodies to control. I will try my best to write everything down.
I am not a big alcohol drinker so I think that will help. The bad thing my sister makes the most delicious cookies! We are having those at the rehearsal dinner!

I am watching my portion size too. I am determined to lose this weight.
I just feel depressed being this big.

Lisa - just remember that it's okay to have some things as long as you can control it. So having one of her cookies would be okay - just don't go all out on them. And having a little of something rather than the whole of something is also good. At least you know it's coming up and what will probably be around you - that's a good thing!!!!!

I plan on trying to control it. Have you ever had a clothespin cookie?

Oh my gosh they are soooo light and good!!! The are like mini creme horns only better!!
I promise to only eat 5, or 6 or 7....I will try to be good!

Do any of you adhere to the "don't eat after 7:30 p.m."?

welcome back......... hey been there done that! mostof us have.......
I have rejoined WISH so many times, I joke and say I will officially be the first one to get kicked out! lol.
I know you've heard it but its true.............
the hardest part is starting all over again...............
make small goals and just get past those first few days till you see your first small results and youll get back into it!

Welcome back, Lisa. I haven't been around much lately. Lots of family obligations in Texas :(

You can do this and we plan to help you. I know size 14 sounds large to you but what I wouldn't give to be a size 14.
