Yes, but it might not be cheaper than buying a quality family plan.

No Problem. I have a separate policy on my kids. My wife is with her employer and I have a separate independent policy. Kids are cheap to insure. I pay $110/mo. for two boys.

We had a policy for DH and a policy for me and the kids because it was alot cheaper per month. Then the prices increased and it was no savings.

Keep in mind with seperate policies you will also have seperate deductibles that you need to reach for maximum benefits where if it was a family policy it all goes into "one bucket"
