Thanks! I kept thinking he was going to propose at Christmas but after he said that I am now thinking he might wait a bit. He talks a lot about buying new golf clubs, a golf membership and us going to Disney next year so I don't know where he would find the money for an engagment ring But maybe he is just trying to throw me off the trail!

soooo. My DBF asked me for my ring size last night. But I don't think he's going to propose soon, he says he is asking for future reference, but I kinda wish he was going to soon....grr he got me wanting to plan again!!!! After I weened myself away for being annoying lol.

Aren't boys sneaky, lol? Dbf keeps telling me it will be a while too, but I think I am being thrown off the track. We hung out with his parents last night and somehow we talked about wanting to visit Italy and Greece...his dad said well maybe for the honeymoon, lol.

Actually last weekend he asked me to move in with him. It's crazy that it's only been 4 months!! I am in my lease for a year, but it was sweet of him to ask!

After more than four years he asked on christmas day !! MAJOR surprise !! We are in the midst of planning a wishes wedding ! I have a PJ that has a few pics in it too!

Awww welcome to our fun and congrats!! I knew almost immediatley that dbf was it but it has been way more confirmed over the last month or so He wants to wait a bit before getting engaged so that everyone doesn't freak out, lol.

Fine, FINE, I'll admit it too. Not engaged (yet) and will definitely not be getting married at DW or any destination (bf's parents won't travel). But I guess in planning my trip I eventually got bored of all the other boards and thought I'd start reading this one.

We had planned on moving in together but after his VERY catholic family told him they would disown him if he moved in with me, we began planning a wedding.

About 4 months after all the wedding planning had started, he proposed to me in the parking lot of his dorm...with a big PLASTIC ring...in a fake Tiffany box he bought on Ebay (he had the real ring in his pocket). UGH.

I think dbf will do a great job when the time comes

And I understand the whole Catholic and not living together before marriage. I hate that! I kinda wish I could live with DBF before we got married, just because you see how a person REALLY is when you live with them.

I don't regret anything I have done in my life, because I feel I have learned from it all..but I wish I had done was best for me in that situation. I feel like if I had lived with him first, we would have NEVER gotten married...we got swept up in the drama of it all. I believe in living with someone first too...try and do what's best for you and your bf
