My daughter and her new DH will be on their honeymoon in January 2018.

Is there anyway I can pay for their dinner at CA Grille? ideally without them knowing.

I know this is probably a long shot but it is something I would love to be able to do.

TIA!

Not sure if you can do this. But if it doesn't work out, another option would be to call their cake ordering hotline & have the restaurant surprise them with a glass slipper dessert or something like that. You will likely need to do a little snooping though & try to get their reservation confirmation number to do this.

I believe that the Glass Slipper dessert is only available in the Castle or at the GF.
If you can't prepay - and I don't think you can - you could at least gift the a Disney Gift Card to cover the cost of the meal.

I prepaid for Victoria and Alberts for my in-laws one year. I called and made the reservation and prepaid for everything, including the tip. They went and were not charged a thing. I would give them a call and check. Worth a shot!

Call the restaurant directly. This is a nice gesture, and I'm sure there is a way to work something out. It might take a little bit of effort on your part, but I would imagine it's doable.

Where can I find the direct number for the restaurant?

CG # (407) 939-3463

Good luck! :) Very nice of you to do that for them. I agree that if you cant pre-pay for their meal, you could just give them a disney gift card.
That number is the Disney dining number not the CG. Maybe they can assist you there though or give you the direct number op.

I have an idea. What if you call the Contemporary Resort and ask for the CG phone number?? Surely they'd be able to help you out, no?

There is no direct number for the resorts, unfortunately. OP, let us know how you make out with this. My guess is, with pre-paid meals, this would be possible by calling Disney Dining and simply giving them your cc, but it will be very difficult to arrange with an a la carte meal.

I was able to call Pop Century directly. Found the phone number on the internet.

My parents wanted to do this for me and my husband back in 2015 when we went on our Honeymoon to WDW and wanted it to be a surprise. They told us after a lot of trying to snoop and trying to make it happen they realized the best option was to give us Disney Gift Cards to cover a meal or use for something else and that is what they did. It was really special still.

Are they staying at Contemporary? Wondering if you can add the money to their room, and then have the dinner charged back to that?

V&A is different, though. It's one price for the whole meal (yes, I know, actually more depending on number of courses, with/without wine, Chefs Table) but it's virtually impossible to prepay exactly at a typical restaurant.

Thanks for all the help!

I have a lot of time to figure this out but it is looking to be near impossible to pull off, especially sine they are looking at doing the DDP now.

I still would like to do something special for them.....now I need to figure out what.
