Can I pack now??

I am so excited, we leave in 11 days. I have twin girls 6 and a son 9. I love the ziplock baggie ideas. I am going to pack their sets of clothes and have them ready for each day. Can I do that now??? I know you all keep saying it keeps the wrinkles down but I am wondering if it is tooooo soon to pack now.... please give me some ideas of things I can pack now so I won't go completly crazy waiting...... Thanks.....

know the feeling, I'm ready to pack for next May

I started to gather things months before our trip, and make lists of things that would be handy to have (like what to include in the first aid kit)(moleskin for the feet!!) and I packed that stuff first. I made a snack food list, and bought that stuff.

I guess I just made a list of all the stuff I needed to take, wanted to take, and then figured out how I could lighten my load.

It helped to pack the backpacks we all took with us on the plane. Fillling them with new crayons, fresh disney coloring books and keychain games helped me feel like I was close!!

We leave June 6th and I told my DH I'm starting to freak out.
I so afraid I'm going to forget something. I would pack now
if I could, but I think he'd kill me He just doesn't understand
all the excitement (its his first trip).

60 days left for us, ready to pack also?? we have the suite cases down and ready.Starting to get the Truck ready for the big drive. Two days at Dolphin ,nine days at Allstar..... WDW 4 US, DCL Next Year......CBR99 Allstar Movies Feb2001 Allstar Music Aug2001.......

We leave in 9 days. We're driving so we're stopping for one night on I95. I got out the suitcases and started organizing some of the things we're bringing. DH just laughed at me. He thinks I'm crazy but I can't stand the wait anymore!!Wilderness Lodge, here we come!

I am so glad to know it is not just me...... wow...... hubby has been laughing at me for months now..... heheheh he can laugh on planning is part of the fun for me..... Ok now I have suitcases all out and starting to pack some stuff.... we also are driving about 20 hours and will be staying one night I 95..... be careful and have a great time...... Maybe some husbands just can't get into the spirit until they arrive..... hehehe mine anyway.....

You're not crazy! We leave on June 9th and I pulled out the suitcases today. Wanted to get the "stuff" I have been gathering in a safe place so I don't forget it. Don't know how "safe" it will be with my 4 year old rummaging through and adding all his treasures. He has packed all of his clothes. So I guess he is planning on wearing his winter clothes for the next week and a half (LOL)!

I haven't officially started packing, but my bedroom has three boxes of stuff I've gathered for the trip, seems like every time I read a tip or suggestion here for staying cool, keeping the kids busy, keeping my feet comfy, etc, I head back out shopping (the budget board is especially dangerous, I guess you're not supposed to buy everything that ever goes on sale, huh?)

Also driving and stopping along the way!

I'm glad I'm not the only one - I might just be a bit more crazy. We don't leave till Oct 2nd and I started packing in March. Oh well. Partly because I have extra things that I'm bringing this year - partly because I bought a new rolling duffle and some space bags and I wasn't sure what would fit -- and mostly because I get so anxious every time I start reading posts on this board. I actually only still have some toiletries and kid gift items officially packed. I always get all the little toiletries early since I get them for summer trips and camping anyway. Then I got hooked on getting little bags of goodies for the kids and I hit the Dollar Tree every chance I get to fill up on things like glow necklaces, stickers, activity books etc. I figure I will be all packed at least a month in advance. I only make a few last minute changes based on the weather forecast.

Last trip was December 2001 , washed the shirts and shorts and put them back in the suitcase ! So technically I have been packed for 5 months and we're not due to leave for Disney until August ! My kids think I'm crazy.

I don't leave until January 18th (ish) and I am ready to pack now!!! I only have one dinner reservation made and that's it.... I can't book the hotel until October and I am waiting for southwest's airfare to come out around August!!! I am just biting my fingernails off waiting for something else to plan.... something else to do!!!! We are a bunch of fanatics around here and I LOVE IT!!!

I used to pack weeks ahead of time of trip..until last week....was all packed and ready to go for a memorial day trip for 4 days and the day we were supposed to leave, we couldnt due to an illness in the family.

From now on, Im not packing until a few hours before we leave. I hated having to unpack my neat and tidy baggies, and bags. I wanted to bust out in tears knowing I wasnt going to Disney!

So we just moved the ressies to June 22...we leave at 2:30 that day, so I will pack at 12:00!!!

I AM SO HAPPY TO READ THESE THREADS NOW I KNOW I'M NOT THE ONLY ONE WANTING TO PACK EARLY WE LEAVE JULY 19TH AND HONESTLY I HAVE HIT THE MALLS EACH WEEK SINCE I PLANNED THIS TRIP IN MARCH HUBBY USE TO LAUGH AT ME BUT NOW HE KNOWS WHAT I'M GOING TO DO FROM OUR YEARLY TRIPS TO VEGAS ALREADY HAVE THE LUGGAGE OUT AND READY TO GO THE KIDS LAST DAY OF SCHOOL WAS TODAY AND THEY ARE OVERLY EXCITED AND I AM ALSO I CAN'T WAITTTTTTTTTTTT AS MUCH AS HUBBY AND I LOVEEE VEGAS I'M MORE EXCITED ABOUT THIS TRIP TO WDW WE WILL ALSO CHECK OUT STERLING CASINO WHILE THERE BUSCH GARDENS UNIVERSAL AND SEA WORLD I CAN'T WAITTTT THIS IS ME
