Can I now drop unneeded fastpasses?

I booked the 3 fast passes for Epcot, though I really only want TT. We shoved the fps as late in the day as possible with TT being 8 pm - 9 pm. I really don't see a need for Figment and Nemo. Using the new changes to fp+ can I now drop the 2 I don't want and keep TT? What if I get to the park and decide I do want a couple. Can I then book the 2 I dropped?

You have always been able to "drop" (actually CANCEL) unneeded FP+.

After you did that (and after you used the one or two that you DID want,) you could then book another FP+ (depending on which FP+ are still available at that time.)

@Mambo Junkie ~ if you drop two before you go to Epcot, you can add the 2 back in now or even when you are in the park.

Disney gives you up to 3 FPs. If you used TT and not your 2nd and 3rd FPs, you wouldn't be able to try for another Tier 1 until you used two Tier 2's. @marciemi tested that this week - that is one of the noted changes in the new system.

Thank you. I had just read under the new fp+ changes is that you NOW can drop fps you weren't going to use, which I had never tried before. I just wondered if there would be any changes in the one I kept if I dropped the other 2. I just don't see the need in having fps for something I'm not going to use just because the system makes you pick 3. I think now you no longer have to pick 3 although I've had my fps for so long now I haven't had the opportunity to test it. With the exception of taking my DGD5 on her first TT ride, our main goals for Epcot are to go to F&G (especially the children's interactive areas) and meet Joy, Sadness and Baymax. We met Baymax and Hiro last time, but DGD(now)3 wasn't having any of it, lol.
