I just got a new car and am making payments for the first time in forever. I got the paperwork to set up automatic payments using my checking account. But does anyone know can I pay it with my chase disney visa so I can accumulate points? I pay my cc off each month

That all depends on your loan provider. Do they accept credit card payments? If so make sure there is not an additional fee before you do. If not then no.

This would be my fantasy! :lmao: I've tried to do our mortgage, car payment & every possible payment through our disney cc. Wouldn't work for our mortgage or car, but does work with our phone, cell & a few other monthly bills.

Neither my mortgage company nor the finance company for my car accepts credit cards. It is rare to have a loan company that will.

Now I can pay bills with my credit card, cell phone, satellite, etc. but not loans.

Remember the businesses/companies have to pay a portion of what they collect via a credit card to the credit card company. This is probably why many loan providers don't take credit cards because they don't want to have to give up a portion of each loan payment to the credit card companies, not to mention that it is basically transferring debt.

I was able to put my electric, gas , car insurance, cell phone, hockey season tickets and alarm system bills on the disney card. :thumbsup2
Unfortunately I was unable to put my mortgage payment on the card( i totally understand why). I could have put the car payment on the card but it would have cost $5 a month to do so.
We put all our purchases on the card - groceries, gas, all other purchases and then we pay it off every month. A few major purchases as well ( furniture, a fence )Over the past 5 years we have earned about $1800.00 for our Disney trips without paying any interest :cool1:

that is kinda what I figured. We do a lot of other bills on the cc

As others have said, it is rare for them to take credit cards. I tried to pay for our first car with a credit card for the rewards, but they were having none of it. They offered to let us put $5K down that way, but we had to write a check for the rest. I had visions of a free airline ticket. :lmao: Denied!

I still pay our utility bill, cable, phone, etc. with our credit card for the Disney Dollars. Why not, right?! :confused3
