Need some advice, please. Flight arrives in Orlando 3:30 pm. Taking ME to Poly. Can I make dinner at Crystal Palace by 6:10 pm? Or am I cutting it a bit too close? Thanks.

If everything goes as planned, you should be able to make it. I wouldn't cut it that close though. It's just too much rushing around at the start of your vacation. I wouldn't make an ADR for arrival night at all.

What if your flight is late? What if there's a delay with ME? What if there's excessive traffic or an accident that delays you? What if it takes a while to get checked in at the resort? What if the monorail is delayed? There are just so many things that can go wrong.

Hi
I think you could make it. You could always check in after dinner if you had to. Also, since its CP, if you are behind a little bit, they will probably still take you. If something went totally wrong, I would call to see if you can move it back to a later time. I have done this in the past and it seems as long as you have a reservation, they can work with you somewhat. (As long as it isn't a peak week.) Worst case, you miss it. No big deal. Just let them know and cancel it that day. Someone else may be able to get in last minute and you will send some magic their way.

I think it will be close. Not enough time to dilly dally. I would hurry to ME in MCO, hurry to check in at you resort, hurry to your room to drop things and hurry to MK by boat if you can see it and won't miss it or the monorail if not.

You may not have time to change in your room. I would coordinate everyone's bathroom breaks. I think by the time you are on ME you will know if it will be tight or not. Also when you seee the check in line. If you had said ADR at 6:30 I would be saying no problem. You just don't have that 20 minutes of flex time.

I think you're fine...

3:30 Arrival @ MCO
5:00 Arrival @ Poly (allowing 90 minutes, longer than average to deplane & ME to resort)
5:30 Checked in (leave bags w/bell services) waiting for monorail
6:00 Walking in to CP.

If you were not at a monorail resort, I might feel differently, but since you are, you should be fine.
If your flight arrives close to 3:30, you should be at the Polynesian no later than 5...and that's the outside time. I would imagine you would be there by 4:30-4:45ish. But, even if you arrive at 5, you can get checked in, freshen up and then over to MK and Crystal Palace by 6. Shouldn't be a big issue. Just don't linger and take your time.

I would say go ahead and make the reservation. You will probably make it, and if not, no harm since you are not prepaying for the meal or anything.

Thanks for all the advice. I'm going to follow Alesia's advice and take it a little easy our first night there. One thing I should have mentioned is that wife and I will be toting along our 3 DD's under 10 years old making their first trip. I think I'd rather we take our time. Thanks again.
