Can I Make Dinner Reservations with our Friends ?

Our friends just told us that they will be going to Disney for a few days when we are there.
They are also staying inside Disney.

My wife and I already made our dinning reservations a few days ago for October.
We'd like to add our friends to our reservations for those days.

Is it possible for me to add them to our existing reservations or do they have to make their own reservations for the same restaurants at the same time ?

Where you are dining depends on how easy it will be to add people. By adding you will go to a different sized table which may or may not be available. You don't need or want separate reservations if you want to sit together.

First try modifying your reservations on MDE or call. If you cannot modify the reservations you will have to start checking online for new reservations and since you want to sit together make one reservation that includes everyone. Depending on how popular the restaurants are you might have to keep checking many times and you might have to be flexible (different time or restaurant). You can subscribe to the cancellation thread for October that is pinned at the top of the Dining Reservations page and many have had success with the Touring Plans reservation finder.

Depending on how busy the restaurant is, you may be able to modify it in the MDE app. We were able to do that for some. Others, we had to call direct. One couldn't be changed until we stopped tat the restaurant he morning of and they were able to modify it. Good luck.
