I'm not sure if this is a dumb question or not, but will I be able to make ADR's 180 days out from our trip, if we are NOT staying on-site? We are actually going to stay at a time-share with family...

I read on the boards somewhere that ADR's were a perk for those who stay on-site, but since we aren't, does that mean we can't?

TIA for any information.

Not true at all. Anyone can make an ADR at 180 days, whether you're staying in a Disney resort or not.

Anyone can make ADR's 180 days out from the day you want the reservation for, the only difference is if you stay on property you can make them 180 days from the start of your reservation for up to 10 days after the start.

For example if you are not on property and your trip will go from 12/10-12/20, you would have to call on 6/13 to make your 12/10 reservations, then call again on 6/14 to make your 12/11 reservations, on 6/15 to make your 12/12 reservations, etc. Or you could wait until 6/23 or after to make them all at once.

If you were staying on property for those same dates, you'd be able to call on 6/13 and make your reservations for all the days of your trip instead of having to call back every day.
