Can I link ME reservations to my personal magic band?

In the past, when going through Magical Express at Orlando airport, my family and I have tapped our magic bands - the ones sent by disney for that trip. Recently we purchased our own personal magic bands to use long term. I have linked them to my tickets/My Disney Experience account, etc. but does anyone know if I can also somehow link my Magical Express reservation? We are flying down in a couple of weeks. Thanks!!

If it is linked to your MDE account, you're good to go.

if they are linked to your MDE you can use them for DME.
it doesn't matter whether they are ones disney sent you or ones that you purchased.

Bands are linked to your account. DME is linked to your account. There's nothing else to be done.
