I wanted to add a night on to the beginning of our stay coming up and the room is available with an AP rate that is cheaper than the cash DVC rate. Can I link the 2 if I go with the AP rate and who would do it DVC or the regular reservation line.

Sorry about being new to this we have owned for a long time just haven't had the AP room rate be cheaper thought that was odd. Thanks for the help

Only if it's a member cash reservation booked through DVC. For all others, you would need to have the other reservation noted on each.

Thank you
I have a son in a wheelchair and have requests and don't want to change rooms. I'm wondering if it's worth the few extra dollars.

Call MS and let them know you have a medical reason for your requests, also let them know you have a CRO reservation for the one night. Once you check in on the CRO night, let the front desk know you will be saying for xxx more nights on points. And you would like to be in the same room. Disney will work with you as much as possible. Have a good trip and I hope all works out well for you.

Since it sounds like the CRO reservation would be first, they would also want to let CRO know about the DVC reservation.

Sounds like I will be okay so I guess I will bite the bullet and reserve that night if it's still there haha Thank you all!

Thank you

If you're getting a HC villa you might be able to do so because I believe they book specific rooms for those. You might be able to get the same room for both, worth trying. But you would likely have to check in again on the change day.

I don't need a HC and don't want to take one out of inventory but am hoping for a ground floor since it's the Polynesian. They had that crazy issue with the fire drill last year. Thank you tho didn't think of that.

For Poly you just need to figure out what you're getting CRO and make sure you reserve the same villa view type with points. Then on both ends request first floor and to be in the same room. There's no way to guarantee it though and you suggested you didn't want to take the chance. Plus you already have the wheelchair so getting a HC room shouldn't be a big deal to the system if you chose to go that route.

FYI, if you talk to them CRO is now Disney Reservation Center, DRC.

I have not booked a room with the old CRO in ages I'm still learning Disney stuff haha Thanks, I was slacking
