I have two rooms at ASMovies, made on my BounceBack discount last November, by my Travel Agent. One is for DH and me, the other for DD/SIL/LittleGuy. Although I made the reservations, DD is the lead guest on the second room. We are hoping for connecting rooms (travel agent knows this and will request) but is there any way I can link the two reservations together thru MDE or something, so when the Disney Powers That Be (aka, room assigners) assign the rooms, they can see we are traveling together and hopefully we can get something connecting?

All you can do is what your travel agent has already done, that is to put a “traveling with“ notation and the request for connecting rooms on both reservations. That lets the room assignors know you would like them to put you as close together as possible, if they can’t give you connecting rooms. I am not aware of anything you can do yourself in M.D.E.

My experience is the same as @CarolynFH. We booked 2 rooms in 2024 as a bounceback, for this year: one for DH and I, and a second one that was technically booked by my DS (20) for him and DD (17). We have different reservation numbers, but we have a "travel with" note that indicates we would like to be placed near each other. It is based on availability, but they try hard to meet the requests.

I would make sure they add your room request of "traveling with" and prefer connecting rooms. Don't put in any other request, so they know this is the key request.

We always call and have the reservations linked. We usually have 3 to 4 rooms and have always been together.
