Can I leave luggage at resort prior to check-in?

We are scheduled to arrive at MCO at 9am and instead of taking the Magical Express, we'd like to maximize our park time by Uber-ing from the airport to POP. We are wondering if we can drop off our luggage at the resort and head straight to MK. If not, are lockers at MK big enough to store luggage?

We left on a 530am flight from NY arrived at MCO at 825 am picked up our luggage walked to magical express. Went to WL went to the check in desk to ask a few questions we had already done online checkin. Left our luggage and carry ons with the Bell Hop got on a bus and we were at EPCOT at 1030. We received a text at 11:47 am that our room was ready. We returned to WL went directly to our room and called Bell Services and they brought our luggage right up. Your plan is great and they will hold everything for you.

Yes, absolutely. Simply ask Bell Services to hold your luggage for you. No need to drag everything to MK!

Awesome. Thanks everyone!!! I thought that was the case but have never done it before and just wanted to make sure we could plan on it.

If you've done online check in, you are even already checked in, at 6 AM. You just may not have a room yet. A lot of folks seem to think of those as the same thing but at Disney it's 2 different things. Just to let you know, Disney's computers roll over for the day at 6 AM. You are officially, a Disney resort guest starting at 6 AM. It's even possible to get your room as early as 6 AM. Never hurts to ask. We have gotten ours as early as 8:30 several times. Can't recall any times we got it earlier but also not sure we've ever arrived earlier than that.

Thanks for the insight. We would do online check in but didn’t know our room might already be ready at that time.

We landed at MCO @ 8:45 a.m. one trip, drove straight to our resort (CSR) and our rooms were ready and waiting for us. We've also arrived earlier than that to POP and ASSp with online checkin complete and had rooms ready for us. While we indicated on our online checkin that we would be arriving at these times, we did not select early checkin as a priority over our other room requests.

Just remember that bell service is a tipped service. I usually only have a small amount of cash with me, use mostly Disney gift cards instead. Well, I called for bags, then realized I had no cash for a tip, only a couple of 20s. Luckily my husband did have some smaller bills. Now I have $5 and $1 bills set aside in an envelope for tips for bell service, mousekeeping, and if we decide to splurge, room service.
