Pros
- holds 1500 books
- can subscribe to newspapers and magazines and have then delivered
wirelessly
- more like reading a "real" book than the iPhone app (which I also have)
- portability. Awesome for travel.
- downlaods book in 60 seconds without a computer
- saves the space of 1500 books
- "greener" that 1500 books
- Books can be shared betwen Kindle and iPhone.
- Font size....any book can be a large print book
- Remembers your place in the book you are reading, even if you jump to
another book.
- Book prices. Most hard cover books are $9.99 instead of $25.00
- Charge lasts quite a while. You can make it last longer if you turn wifi off.
- Isnt back lit, making it easier on your eys.
- Lighter than a hard cover book
-
Amazon keeps your purchases on file making them avaioable to you even if
you delete title from your Kindle
Cons
- Pricey
- Uses this weird "location" thing instead of page numbers
I have the Kindle iPhone app and while it's great when you are stuck in line or waiting in the Drs office....who can actually sit down to read on a cell phone?
The back light will eventually cause eye strain and you will kill your battery flipping pages.
That's it. I cant really think of anything negative about the Kindle.
