Can I just say.......

The pictures look so pretty. I guess I shouldn't complain about the 83º here today! Okay, I will tell you we are getting a cold front Monday, it should drop into the 70's! :duck:

Wow- beautiful pictures!!!

Texas weather has been crazy this week. 45 on Monday, 83 on Tuesday (and yes that does say 83), 40's yesterday, and 60's today. No wonder I have had a headache every day.

Gee Buffy, your yard looks a lot like mine! Stupid sn*%. Now I'm stuck in the house and signing up to angel spots in swaps! See, the sn*% just creates more work for everyone. I hate winter!

beautiful pics buffy. hope dh got home ok. my dh is still not home. i think he might be driving the skid stear at the new shopping plaza so it will be nice for everyone in the am. the only problem with that is he wont be home until the wee hours of the am and them straight back to work. no down time. he'll be exhausted tomorrow night. he better sleep good fri night, because they say we are in for another whopper on sat night into sunday. YUCK YUCK YUCK!!!

Pretty pictures, I hope your DH made it home ok in all that.

Scott wasn't driving my car, mine is rubbish in comparison with his (and also costs half what his did!) He doesn't drive mine unless his is locked in the garage and he can't be bothered getting it out and backing it down the driveway.

Buffy - did I tell you my car managed to need a trip to the garage costing over $150 and neither of us were even in it at the time??? Boy was I mad!!!

No you didn't tell me the car was in the shop!! OH no!!! What happened??

Guess what, the smart car is coming to the States early. DH is thinking of buying one if he gets the job at ESPN. The mini just can't handle Daily driving.

What she said Dyan!!!!!!!

Oh and DH made it home a-ok! It usually takes 1 -1 1/2 hours but today it took 4 hours. And he couldn't get in the driveway (it's a hill) so he had to park at mom's. Hopefully we won't have school tomorrow and Plow Guy can clear us out. I need to buy my park tickets!!!

Hey! Glad he is home...had to come home and change into sweats and a sweatshirt..now off to get DD from Bball practice and maybe to Kroger for ice cream to celebrate the fact that my youngest danced w/ a girl and they had fun and they laughed and it was TOOOOOOOO cute...future plans for blackmail are in the works thanks to both set of parents DS's and DS's dance partner had camcorders! :)

Why do I live here? I hate this weather!!

It took DH 4 1/2 hours to get to work this afternoon. It normally takes 40 minutes!! He kept calling me at work every 20 minutes with an update about how little he had traveled, and freaking out about being late. I'm not even sure he's coming home tonight - he may sleep at work. I'm waiting for a call back.

So after working 12 hours, I had to spend half an hour shoveling my car out of the parking lot at work, drive home, and then I couldn't get the stupid sn**-blower to work, so I spent 90 minutes shoveling the driveway so I could get the car into the garage.

I HATE NEW ENGLAND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I HATE NEW ENGLAND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ummm.... you may want to consider changing your user name. :upsidedow

I can't get over how bad the roads were today. DH got called in for overtime tonight and it took him an hour to get to the fire station - it's 2 miles away!!!!

And to think, winter hasn't even officially started yet!

I would like slightly cooler weather here but I am glad those of you going through everything are staying safe. It has been in the 80s here all week and I just am not getting into Christmas with it this way.

Rebecca

yikes - just heard the weather report (not that I REALLY believe it) but guess OH is getting a bit of the unwanted "stuff" tomorrow!

Just wanted to say, Buffy, your pictures are FABULOUS - you definately have a gift of picture taking that is capturing the subject in a way I just can't seem to do!

Thanks for sharing :thumbsup2
.

Ok, we are suppose to get hit hard tomorrow (NOT as hard as the NE area) but I'm going to the grocery at 8:30 this morning... and than DH and I are going to try to finish our shopping tonight... I should have sent the checks w/ him to cash.. darn it...

Glad everyone made it home safely even though it took forever... Stay safe and warm!!

Glad everyone made it home ok yesterday. Be careful if you get out in it today. Its supposed to be a little cooler today with a high of 68 and then only a high of 48 tomorrow and some plain ole rain.

It's bright shine as DS11 used to say!!! We have a 90 minute delay so I'll run out to snap some more pics this morning.

And pashaw, my pics are terrible. Of course it didn't help that my hands were shaking because it was sooo cold!

very pretty pics Buffy, I do miss the snow (we lived in PA & NJ for a couple of years) its great if you don't have to go anywhere.

we are having a cold spell for here, been in 30 at night with a heavy frost, and rain is coming next week, luckily I have my garage to park in, I'm freezing my tush off taking DD to school, thankfully today is her last day for a month.

heading up to WA next week, so we might get to see that white stuff on the drive up and we even get it in Seattle sometimes, things really get bad up there with the drivers, I-5 is usually a stand still, one year thousands of people just left their cars since they ran out of gas and walked off the freeway.

Everyone take care with the bad yucky weather coming, Buffy have a wonderful trip to WDW, tell Mickey we will see him soon, 6 weeks and counting.

Doesn't look much does it? It's enough to have most of England in a panic though!! Best part is that I had the morning news on when I was looking out at it and the weather forecaster insisted that our part of England wouldn't have frost today, errrr....!

Car was parked on the road and some kind soul decided to drive into my wing mirror and carry on. I found it later that day hanging off the side of the car by the cables. That was money I could have done without spending!

Dh came home and said "We are leaving for WDW on Monday, Dec. 17-Dec 23)... so they are leaving in days provided they can get their flights out of the NE mess....
