Hi everyone
I am not new to the dis but I havent been around in a loong time.
So I feel as if I am new again.so many new people in the past few years!!
My story is simple, years and years of fluffernutters (hence my screen name)
and never saying no to candy brought me up to an all time high weight. In the past year and a half I have managed to lose 77 pounds by saying no to candy, and adding more fruits and veggies to my menus. I still have a good 50 pounds to lose and I am at a standstill. I recently had gallbladder surgery with complications and am on all kinds of medicine now. I guess my metabolism is just stuck right now and trying to recouperate from all the surgeries etc.
So I am needing support to keep me strong and sane while I dont see the changes on the scale. I am hoping eventually my body will just kick it up a notch and start losing again but in the meantime, I would love to join you all here and share encouragement, ideas and recipes with you all.
