Suppose I'm in Epcot earlier in the day, and TT FP return is say, 6:00 pm. Well, I have no desire to do TT, but DH, who's currently golfing does. And he's meeting me in Epcot late afternoon. Can I get him the FP ticket to use that I got with my park pass? It seems like it would work, there's nothing to identify you that the CMs look at really. Just not sure. Has anyone done this?

Yes, you can do that. You just won't be able to get another fastpass for yourself until the alotted time.

We've done it lots of times. We thought we were going to stay in the parks, but changed our minds. Then we offer them to families just coming in. We even had someone turn us down one time. Most of the time they are excited to take them.

Sure you can! They don't check to see which ticket got the FP. That would be too much to keep up with, especially with families and groups. We have even given them away to strangers before if we didn't really feel like riding at that time. We've had strangers give them to us before. We never had a problem using them.

Hope you have a great trip!

Sure we do it all the time also. We always get more than we need DS 3 can't ride many of the rides trhat have FP. So we give away the extra.

Disnee Dad Says................................Sure you can! In fact we try to get a couple FP's before we leave the parks, to give out on our way out. For all the magic we get, it's just as important to try to spread some too!

Giving it away to someone who can use it is far better than throwing it away. :D

We've never had a problem giving ours away either....so pass 'em on!

Yes you can!!!

We have given our FP's to other people if our plans change and you can't use it.

In December, we had 2 FP's for TZToT and then decided to go eat(we had already ridden several times:D ). So, we went to the front of the line and waited until we saw 2 people walk into line and gave them the FP's. You should have seen their faces. The stand-by line was 60 minutes!

Great idea!!! Just a question, does the FP time stay from one park to another? I guess my question in English, if I get a FP in Epcot, give it to a stranger and than ride the monorail to MK, can I get a FP as soon as I enter MK or does it still use my Epcot time stamp?

Oprah would be proud of all of your Random Acts of Kindess and what better place to do it than the most magical place in the world!!

This brings up a question that my DH asked me on our recent trip for which I did not have an answer (and I hate when that happens lol!) If you knew someone who had annual passes and was not going to the park the days you were would it be possible to take theirs with you for purposes of getting fast passes? Before anyone gets on me about the morality of such a move please know that I have no way of doing this--its mostly just a question about the degree of sophistication of the technology. Does anyone know if it would work or does the AP have to have been used for entry for the FP to work? Just wondering...

The AP must have been used for entrance into the park. I know because last year I and some friends went down and we all have AP's. One was in a wheelchair and we both walked thru the handicapped entrance. The CM did not do something correctly and it did not register that we had entered the park. When we tried to get FP, it would not give us any and when we figured out what had happened, the CM attending the FP machine overrode and gave us FP but had to see our ID to make sure it matched. We had the same problem all day.

Thanks AuntBJ! I'm impressed that the technology is interconnected--keeps everyone honest. Sorry for your inconvience tho--that must have been a real pain in the neck!

I would also be interested in the questions about moving to a different park.

Can I get a FastPass at MK if I just got one at Epcot ?

In Disneyland, we got fastpasses at DL, then went to DCA and got some there, then went back to DL to either ride the fastpass ride or get another fastpass. The 2 CA parks don't have their fastpasses connected so I imagine that the ones in FL don't either. Also, you can use a fastpass anytime after the start time on it, not just in that one hour window, so if you get a TT fastpass, then go eat or go to another park, you can come back and use your TT fastpass later that day. We asked several CMs about this as as our fastpass for RnRC was during our dinner PS. The CM there told us we could use it anytime after the beginning of the hour listed, just not before. We also asked at ToT, TT, SM, Splash, BTMRR, Peter Pan, and Pooh. All of these CMs agreed that they can be used at any time. Also, over NYE, a CM at TT told us that since the ride broke, we could save our fastpasses for another day or even another trip. Well we did and used them over President's Week with no problems.

We also usually give ours away if we don't plan to use them, or if someone decides not to ride a certain attraction. I do have a question about that though. It seems as though everyone on this thread is in favor of giving away fastpasses, but they do say nontransferable on the back of them. So to me, this is the same as giving away my 4 day park hopper pass that has a day left on it if I don't plan to use it. Once you use a fastpass, they take it from you so they can't mean that it's non-transferable after being used by the original holder (which I believe is the argument used with not being able to give away a park hopper). Both say nontransferable, so what's the difference? To me, both are acts of kindness that are acceptable.

I've got another interesting question about FP! Say me, my fiancee, my mom and dad are at EPCOT one day. My fiancee and I want to ride Test Track, but my parents do not. Could we get 4 fastpasses, come back during the time slot and use two of them and then get my parents' Fastpasses and do it again immediately afterwards?

As previously said before, I know there may be some morality issues here; however, do the CMs look for this sort of thing?

:p

Yes, that will work. Doubt the CMs will say anything evenif they do notice.

We did something like that with Buzz Lightyear. Our group of five all got FP. DH & I took DD on ride while younger DD stayed off with Grandpa. After our ride Younger DD still did not want to try it so Older DD used younger DD's FP to ride with Grandpa.
