Can I get the DDP (not free) with a pin code?

I got a pin code in the mail today and am *trying* to convince dh to take us next month! He's not a fan of WDW though, so who knows.

But if I convince him can we get the DDP (not free) using this pin code? From what I've heard, I think not, but I figured I would ask the experts.

If the pin code is for room only, then you will not be able to add the dining plan. If the pin code is for a package, you may be able to add the dining plan.
