Before I call,I thought I"d ask here.

I got a postcard with a PIN

It says "enjoy free dining when you purchase this package..starting at $63 a day per person based on a family of 4."

The package is a 4 night/5 day resort stay,tickets,and Free Dining.

Do you think its a room discount and free dining? I'm just trying to see if it will save me more than the fall discount code.

I used a pin with a similar description for this fall and we're paying 524 for 2 adults, 4 nights at POP including one-day base tickets and DDP - one table service, one counter service and one snack per day.

I am a sucker for these deals, though - 2 weeks ago I got back from a similar postcard deal on the room only that did not include free dining although we are always willing to pay for it since it's a good value for us.

If you call the number on the card, they will happily price a selection of hotels and choices for you - at least they did for me. But then again, I think it says "Disney sucker born just this minute" at the top of my profile!

Do you already have the fall discount? If not go to the Disney website and price out the trip with the discount, or just call Disney. I found them to be very helpfull and willling to spend as much time as needed on the phone figuring these things out. Also, I'm pretty sure that you can use that discount for longer than 4 nights 5 days. Also try the different hotels. That price on the card is probabaly for a value, but can still be used on a moderate or deluxe . I will tell you that we are using free dining (visa), and that deal saved us $578 more than our pin which was the same as the old fall discount. Good luck, let us know how you do.

Looks like the same offer as the current DVR. It's based on 4 nights, family of four (2A, 1J, 1C), 5 day base tix, and midweek for lowest season at a value. Not sure about insurance.

In any case, depending on availability, it does have about a 20% discount on the room portion, and dining is free.

Just price out the same online at rack rate for the same dates, for a 'disney family'

Rack on a value (99 room per night) with 5 day MYW base tix (again 2A, 1J, 1C) would be $1329.62 without insurance. A per person per *DAY* is about $66.

So there's a tiny discount (specially if the offer included insurance) and dining is truly free. Compared to the Fall package, no, it costs a bit more, however depending on your party size, you'll save a bunch more with free dining.

In some cases (at least for me) at a mod, this offer is only $50 more than the fall package without dining.

For $153 I was able to upgrade from WL courtyard to POLY Garden View. I am so happy.

I'm shocked at the savings off of rack rate.....its like a $1500 savings.
