Can I get my tickets 2 days before my package starts?

Hello All

I am new to this Board - and have really enjoyed reading it!

Here is my question. I have a week long trip planned in September and will be staying off site. I fly into Florida on a Saturday (and check in off site on Sat). Sunday we are going to Seaworld. Then Mon-Thur we are going to the Disney parks and I have a one night campsite booked for Mon-Tue and have added a 4 day ticket to that overnight (so I guess it's a package). I have already made fastpasses for Mon-Thur.

I saw that Magic Kingdom is now open until midnight on our arrival day (Saturday). So I was thinking of modifying my package to add a 5th day of tickets and go to MK on Saturday.

But I don't check into the campsite until Monday. So could I actually use a package ticket 2 days before checkin? If so - how would that work? I also just tried to see if any fastpasses were available for the Saturday (which is less than 30 days away now) - but all the dates PRIOR to my checkin were grayed out. So I'm wondering - even if I added the 5th day ticket - it seems to not let me make any fast passes prior to my check-in day.

I am on the fence whether or not to even go to MK on Sat arrival day - it will be a long day of travel and I don't want to be exhausted for SeaWorld the next day -- but just trying to figure out my options.

You CAN activate package tickets early, but you have to do it in person when you arrive, and you are correct -- you will not be able to pre-book FP for any days prior to your checkin. You can book them once you have activated the tickets.

Is there a reason you booked the tickets as a package? If you separate them from the resort stay, you could book FP for each day you want to use them.
