Can I get late check out at Animal Kingdom Lodge ?

Does anyone know if Animal Kingdom Lodge would give us late check out till 3pm? How much do you think they will charge? Our flight dosnt leave till really late and we would love extra time to relax and nap. Thanks

We have asked, and received a late check out many times at Disney resorts. It can't hurt to ask. The latest we have been given is 1pm. We have never been charged anything. Just call on your check out day and politely ask. Good luck!

Maybe. Just like every other resort, depends on occupancy. I think it's pretty rare at DVC properties though as they usually run very close to 100% occupancy.

After 1PM is usually 50% of nightly rack rate. After 3PM is usually 100% of nightly rack rate.

As long as you aren't staying in a DVC villa, you might be able to get a later check out. DVC villas do not offer any late checkouts because they take longer to clean. And they may ask for some payment to extend longer than an hour or two if it is available.
