Can I Get Back to BCV?

We have a 5:45 dinner-at-the-Castle reservation, and the park is scheduled to close at 6:00. I figure we will be done with dinner about 7:00. Will we have trouble getting back to BCV, especially if we get out later than 7:00? Will the buses be running? Can we take the monorail to Epcot and walk thru to BCV? What's our best bet?

take the bus - you shouldn't have a problem - once when we ate after the park was closed - the bus monitors (I don't know what they are called) the ones in the little shack close to the bus stop at the MK - came out and ask us where we were going (like we weren't standing under the OKW line) and my brother say OKW and they immediated called up a bus for us.

the buses normal run 2 hours after the park is closed.

If you ever get left call the security guards and they will get you back to a WDW resort.

You can take the bus or the monorail. The monorail will take you to Epcot then you can walk back through Epcot if you are not too tired. Otherwise, take the bus.

We just did something similar last week.
We found that the resort monorail was operating from the MK, and we could then link to the EPCOT mono at the TTC.
At first I was confused as to why the resort mono was running 2 hours after MK closing, but then realized that it must run for the people coming off the EPCOT mono who are going to the resorts. I am still wondering why it actually stoped at MK, but it did, so I was happy.
