I mailed out the greeting card swap this morning which was my LAST swap to finish and this is the first time in, oh, I don't know 6 months? (maybe more?) that I have not had a swap to work on. At first I had withdrawal symptoms you'd expect from a swapaholic - what would I possibly do with my free time now?
But I have made a decision. A HARD AND FAST decision and I need some witnesses to keep me honest.
I will not sign up for any more swaps until after the first of the year. (I think it's unlikely any will start until then anyway) (But here's the biggie) I will SCRAP. A LOT. Between now and Christmas I will see at least one project through to completion. I will make a significant dent in the backlog of photos I have accumulated. I will attempt to organize the disaster areas I have lurking among my scrapping supplies. I will start making my Christmas cards NOW rather than waiting until December 15 and realizing I have no time (like last year.) I will actually USE some of the swap items I have accumulated. (Gasp!) Basically, I will put as much time and energy into my own projects as I have been putting into swaps.
There they are - my "Halloween" Resolutions, so to speak. Do you think I can do it? I'm counting on you guys to check in with me in December and see how I did. If I didn't meet my goals I will not be allowed to join any more swaps until I do.

I'm almost finished with my 2004 WDW album.
The first step is admitting you have a problem...
