Can I enter port earlier than 10:30 to pick up a DCL guests?

From experience, I know that guests can debark the DCL on the last day of the cruise at about 8:30 a.m. I've read that the DCL port does not open 10:30 a.m. Does the DCL port allow cars in prior to 10:30 (like at 8:30) for guest pick-up?

Thanks,
Scott

I would think so. At least, you should be able to get into the parking lot and wait outside the terminal exit. The inside of the terminal is a "secured" area, as all of the luggage is in there prior to passing the Customs officers. I believe that it's the port terminal's upper level, where guests check in, which opens at 10:30. When we debark, there are always taxis, limos, and shuttles waiting outside the terminal.

I believe they will let you into the parking lot across the street (outer parking lot) where you would have to wait for your party to meet you. I do not think they let cars into the parking lot close to the building unless they have cruise documents for travel that day.

It is only a short walk from the terminal to the outer parking lot. You should make arrangements for your party to meet you by the white tent in the outer parking lot. Even limos and shuttles have to pick up guests at this area.

They can have a porter take all their luggage to this spot so they do not have to carry it themselves.
